The reality is that the Bozeman coach has given his administration and the Bozeman fans exactly what they want.

Mediocrity!

Getting your team to the playoffs last year was not mediocrity.
It is at top of the food chain programs like Montana.

ummmm, where were you last year? the year before? the year...? Top of the food chain?

Year 4 of Choate's tenure: top 10 national ranking. Playoff win to cap year 3. Has never lost to the griz ( two of which have been at your house). Has clearly taken a program that was in disarray and has rebuilt it in his image, from ground zero. This year...arguably has more talent across the roster than any other program in the BSC. Why? MSU arguably has the best defensive line, the best corners, the best safety duo. LB corps will be nasty, and solidified by the best pure athlete in the BSC...think anyone is hitting the edge on the Cats this year..Ha. The Defense should be elite this year and there isn't a close 2nd. Offense? MSU arguably has the best OL in the BSC. Top tier RB talent? Check. Servicable WR's? Check. Even with mediocre / average QB play the Cats will roll this year. CDA can talk all the shit he wants but the big picture speaks for itself, and he looks like a silly little bitch talking that weak shit on Coach Choate. Garizzalies is a CDA wannabe, just much less intelligent.

This isn't a homer MSU post just a reality check. I think UM will be much improved this year. Bobby is legit, like him or not (see it's easy to give credit where it's due) and I think the griz will roll this year, especially with your new OL transfer, it's just what the griz do. And I hope you guys do get back to form. MSU and UM being the best in the BSC is how it should always be. Period.

Carry on with the half witty retort by CDA and laughable shit talking. And big sky, you gotta stop feeding the trolls my man.

Why do we even play the season? FlyCastingCat has ordained the kittens as Conference Champions and a deep run in the playoffs before a ball has even been snapped. So stateish. I wonder what size tippet he uses whenhe ties that worm on?

Unbelievable. Choate was a nano second timeout call and fluky fumble away from sitting home last year with more losses on his record.

I think Choach is smart enough to see that this season is not going to be good for cat people, and his tenure is circling the drain, so, per The Plan, he is doing all kinds of goofy shit to appease the base. Like trashing and then voting rival #1 and copying rival’s most cherished traditions. It is embarrassingly lame, and such a desperate reach. Epitome of lil bro

You mean the good win after coming from way behind at the end of the 1st qtr. The Cats were all over your team for three qtrs.

Wow, all of that and the same cluster fuck of a QB situation for you guys. Seriously, the fact that he has not found a quarterback and this is going on year 4 speaks volumes. Did you listen to Tootell and Nuanez on this topic? They stated that you could have all that talent that you just mentioned but if you don’t have the number one guy in a quarterback at the helm (the person who touches the ball 100% of every offensive play along with the center) then you could be absolutely fucked. I’ve seen enough of Rovig to know he’s not your answer. Will Andersen take one for the team again and end up quarterbacking? To even begin to make a playoff run you’re going to need him.

Jessus, I was at the game. If not for the TD at the end of the second it would have been a first half shut out. What I saw was your self-professed far superior talent team getting manhandled for nearly two quarters (score with 23 seconds left) and the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter. There was no scoring in the 3rd quarter. The game stats all favored the Griz except the one that decided it, turnovers. The best D in conference, according to you, gave up 454 yards to an offense with no o-line, that coughed the ball up twice. No wonder PR thinks you never played the game.

It sucks we lost the head to head (especially three years in a row), but apart from that, neither program really has much to crow about recently.

Maybe before stopping off at your rival’s message board and spewing crap, you should know what the hell you are talking about. Otherwise, you just look like a dumbass!

The Griz were up 7-0 after 1, 22-7 at the half and the same after 3.

In review, you stated the cats came from way behind after 1 (false, down 7) and you stated the cats were all over the Griz for 3 quarters (false, just 1 quarter). Don’t let a little thing like the facts get in the way of your agenda, though!

I don't know why bobcat fans think that Choach is on an upward trend... Rob Ash had winning teams before he got canned. Choach took those winning teams and turned them into a losing team for what 4 years was it? Yup upward trend.. derp

Where did I come up with those facts? Do you dispute the factual allegations in my post? You can disagree with my opinion all you want, but you make it sound like I’m lying and I clearly am not. Your Choach did those embarrassing things to the media—which happens to be the subject of this thread, dumbass!
I mean seriously. You suck at this—possibly worse than any other C.A.T.roll. Your blind enthusiasm is cute tho

Yea it is funny.
Not only is Choach on his 4th different QB in his 4th year, but also his 4th new QB coach and 4th new play caller, and a new DC. Exactly how he drew it up, as always

Can you compare the schedules for last year? Not doubting you; just can't recall.

I don't know where to look up strength of schedule, but looking at the best teams each played, MSU played three of the top five teams in the country in SDSU, EWU, and Weber. Then of course had playoff teams Incarnate Ward and, cough cough, NDSU. um played........ #6UCD. Also played MSU of course and 6-5 UNI. I think those were the best teams you faced?

Schedules from last year to this year definitely flipped in regards to the Cats and Griz. Cats schedule was pretty tough last season, and on paper the Griz schedule this season looks much tougher than the Cats.

Last year Cats slung shit to the Griz about what an easy schedule they had and this year Griz fans will do the exact same thing.

Combined record of Cat opponents last season was 62-40. Combined record of Griz opponents was 42-45.

Though all of this means nothing and simply gives us another thing to piss and moan about in July...
