Except the griz had a pretty easy schedule last year compared to the Cats. That is flip flopped this year.

Can you compare the schedules for last year? Not doubting you; just can't recall.

I don't know where to look up strength of schedule, but looking at the best teams each played, MSU played three of the top five teams in the country in SDSU, EWU, and Weber. Then of course had playoff teams Incarnate Ward and, cough cough, NDSU. um played........ #6UCD. Also played MSU of course and 6-5 UNI. I think those were the best teams you faced?
Schedules from last year to this year definitely flipped in regards to the Cats and Griz. Cats schedule was pretty tough last season, and on paper the Griz schedule this season looks much tougher than the Cats.

Last year Cats slung shit to the Griz about what an easy schedule they had and this year Griz fans will do the exact same thing.

Combined record of Cat opponents last season was 62-40. Combined record of Griz opponents was 42-45.

Though all of this means nothing and simply gives us another thing to piss and moan about in July...

Sagarin ratings at year end (prior to Ndsu) has the Cats with a tougher overall schedule, but only by like 10 slots (142 vs 152). Was pretty close.

I can see that. Our three games before conference were pretty even; 13-9 Cats and 15-9 Griz with Western Illinois as a common opponent.

Obviously our playoff games against a 6-2 team and a 8-0 team at the time plays a big role in the winning percentage of our opponents.

Conference schedule was the biggest difference with Cat opponents being 35-29 and Griz opponents going 27-36. You got to avoid Weber, Eastern and I suppose ISU.... :? Cats avoided Davis which the Griz played.

This season you play Davis, Eastern, and Weber while the Cats avoid Eastern and Weber for the first time forever.

Records alone may not tell the whole story when the Brawl rolls around

Who cares about "in the media?"

I want to see a "Mano a Mano Hauck vs Choach Celebrity Death Match!"
Hauck would have to move up at least a couple of weight classes

Not sure about that, I think hauck is a bigger dude. But personally I would love to see those two tools kick the crap out of each other.

I’ll say it once, and once only: Choach is exactly where he wants to be; Hauck is nowhere near where he wants to be.

CDA, did Choate tell you you this is exactly where he wants to be? Reason I ask is because I have heard him say directly numerous times where he wants to be is winning a national championships.

Choate interview from last week said something about how it's a process to build a program, but he feels they're on the right track and "have a chance to be a pretty good club in a couple years". He also said most years he has a good idea going in, where the strengths and weaknesses are but this year he has no clue and has no idea how good they're going to be.

Dude’s got this thing so dialed.

Egriz is always good for some entertainment...

This thread is about as close as it gets to “my dad could beat up your dad”

Then you get people like CDA posting the same general thing about Choate or the Cats that he posts on every thread, and garizzle being CDA’s biggest fanboy...

Keep it going, it’s good stuff...
