What kind of idiot would make a post like ABCCat, after the tv showed the split view reply, which showed that the TO was called before the snap?
Answer: An idiot who is a troll, and not very smart one either.
I would have bet money that you would have disagreed with the part where I called you a senile idiot. I would have lost. Interesting.PlayerRep said:catsack said:ABQCat said:I'm pretty sure there will be an 18 page thread on the Chicago Bears fan board discussing if the Eagles called the timeout before the kick. "Montana State was granted a timeout on that play too, apparently calling for it just before the ball was snapped. No one seemed to realize, including the side judges, who signified touchdown with arms raised."
And note Hauck says the TO was "apparently" called.
"We were in the end zone and apparently they got the timeout called."
Only one official signaled touchdown, and he was the side judge on the Griz side.
Which ref called the TO? Where was Choate standing? Thanks.

Pretty clear that they were all looking at the side judge on the Cat sideline as they were all running to the LOS. and it's pretty clear Jeff was very close to him at the time.

Referee, back judge, ump and the guy that blew the whistle, the side judge on the Cat side. They all ran to the ball waving to stop the play.

Interesting. I scanned the field immediately after the score, looking for flags. I would have seen most of the refs, but not focused on them. I didn't see any calling TO. In fact, I thought the side judge on the Cat side was signaling TD. I was sitting on the 50 in the upper deck of east side in row 1. My scan was probably about 1.5 seconds.
Again, Speltz' article said both side judges were signaling TD. Again, Hauck was quoted in the paper as saying "apparently" a TO had been called. Had he known a TO had been called, don't think he would have said apparently.
Again, never watched the video. Thx.

Why not watch the replay and you can finally put this to bed yourself?

Very few Eastern homers would admit that. Good on you.
