As to the game, we are going to be well rested and will only turn the ball over twice in the first quarter (and not on consecutive possessions), get some real lucky bounces in the fourth quarter and sneak out with a win:

I know we have struggled but even when we have an average team we are tough to beat at home. I would like to pick the griz but i do not have enough faith in our offense yet. I think it remains close but davis pulls way in the 4th.

Basis for prediction: Griz are maybe one field goal better than Poly.

I wouldn't put it past us.



In any case, have fun with your run. It will most likely end, at best, getting trucked by NDSU by 30-40 points in the playoffs, and then returning to the Big Sky pack in the next season or two. So.... enjoy it while you got it!

mmmm... maybe, but the difference between Davis and ISU/NAU/Weber and any other recent conference challengers is just how much money our school and community has. If our admin, donors, and corporate partners get interested in football, we'll have a cash influx much larger than what most other schools in the conference could come up with. (This was already starting to happen even before this year, and is several years underway for basketball.)
