Davis 52
Griz 13

Basis for prediction: Griz are maybe one field goal better than Poly.

I wouldn't put it past us.

In any case, have fun with your run. It will most likely end, at best, getting trucked by NDSU by 30-40 points in the playoffs, and then returning to the Big Sky pack in the next season or two. So.... enjoy it while you got it!

mmmm... maybe, but the difference between Davis and ISU/NAU/Weber and any other recent conference challengers is just how much money our school and community has. If our admin, donors, and corporate partners get interested in football, we'll have a cash influx much larger than what most other schools in the conference could come up with. (This was already starting to happen even before this year, and is several years underway for basketball.)

Good. I've felt that Davis has been squandering football for awhile.

Official KOD: Haley.

No. 5 UC Davis (6-1, 4-0 Big Sky) at Montana (4-3, 2-2), 4 p.m.
The Griz have had two weeks to stew, er, prepare for UC Davis. They’ve stopped converting third downs — a mere 6 of 24 (25 percent) during their two-game losing streak. Behind quarterback Jake Maier’s 21 touchdown passes, UC Davis has scored at least 44 points in each win this season.

Pick: Montana

When was the last time that GRiZ lost two in a row at WGS?
GRIZ 38
Davis 31

2012, NAU and SUU. You also lost to the Cats at home so you went 3-3 at home. On the road you lost to App State, EWU, and UND so obviously a down year for the griz.

If Davis wins it will be by two scores.

If Montana wins it will be close all the way, with the last team to get the ball winning.

GRIZ -- 38
DAVIS -- 31.

THX. I had forgotten about that year. One thing that won’t happen, is that the GRiZ will not lose to the kitties three years in a row. :!:

Here’s a chance for Sneed to re-establish himself. Offense overall needs to get back in a groove. Corners have a chance to shine. Will have faith in them.

Griz- 34
UCD- 31
