Not sure if this belongs here or not. i assume it does, as it directly affects us, but if not, feel free to move it.
Looks like JJ will be slinging the rock around for them next year. This makes them a much better team. I am still confident we will beat them, but things got a lot more interesting on that side of the Divide today.
I kind of assumed whit the press and the fallout from this trial, he would transfer, but it looks like he wants to rebuild himself in Snizzoula. Good luck. A couple losses in a row and we will see where the Griz fans loyalties really lie.

I agree, they instantly become a much, much better football team with the addition of Johnson. I am okay with that.....it makes both the Big Sky Conference and the competition even stronger for a BSC championship. I actually think it would be pretty neat to see both MSU and UM in the top 5 at playoff time. That is positive recongnition for the whole state.
As for your comment about them losing 2 in a row and let's see what happens.....I am not sure with Johnson at the helm they will experience that. That guy can flat-out play....I'll give him that. But if it does happen, you are right, all heck will break loose in Zootown!

The Griz will be tough next year with probably the most talented o-lines, d-lines/front seven returning among the Big Sky teams. They will probably work themselves back into a top 5 ranking.
Qualifying for the playoffs out of the Big Sky is going to take a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck.

Yep, it definitely makes the CAT-grizz game a lot more interesting. Hard to say right now just how good each team will be when that game rolls around, but just having JJ back on the field after the media circus is going to be a circus in itself.
I would be surprised if UM doesn't set an attendance record this year. No such thing as bad press and he definitely kept them in the media. His not guilty verdict and reinstatement has to energize their fan base. egriz.com has been like a FCS championship post-game celebration since last Friday. His reinstatement is like a parade down Main Street.
