Yeaaaa, probably not any good anyway, so why are there 3 threads on your board about this kid...? :coffee:
Had he come to UM, he could have been the next DD.

I look forward to him becoming the next Mark Desin for the Cats.

Actually Roderick was going to be Nevada's number 2 this season, he was there #3 last season!

Other than being a poster child for the media of late what are the stats on this kid. I've tried looking at his qb rating, 40 speed, YAC, or even tackles and have found nothing on him. In fact I don't think he has ever been in a collegiate game. So his credentials seem to be GPY in the state of Montana which shows he's a good athlete with a strong gpa, and some outside service work. Specifically as a football player nobody really knows except he wasn't very popular at Nevada. As far as all this other stuff (program in the right direction, Montana on the outs, etc...) throw it out the window cuz none of it matters. IMO the only thing about this kid going to msu is bragging rights on recruiting another Montana made kid. I'm sure Montana has plenty of kids who will fit the mold at wr(I know we recruited him as a qb) that roderick brings to win football games. Instead of getting all riled up about a kid from Bozeman who gets a free jelly of the month membership and live at home the scats should probably start looking at some o-lineman for this kid to hide behind (unless people think he's as elusive as dm which I doubt).

I don't think he had any stats at Nevada (he redshirted his first year, and didn't play last year as a RsF), but he had pretty gaudy numbers as a senior at Bozeman High.

In addition to leading BHS to a 13-0 record and their first state title in forever, Roderick led Class AA in rushing with 1,913 yards and 23 touchdowns on 238 carries, and also topped Class AA in passing efficiency, completing 140 of 229 passes for 2,457 yards and 28 touchdowns, against just five interceptions.

Not that it makes a bit of difference but congratulations to the Bobcat football coaching staff for their recruiting success. They're getting some good, maybe even great players.

Same to the Griz coaching staff who've also landed some good, maybe even great players (particularly at the skill positions). It would be great to have some insight regarding the "direction" MD is going with the offense and defense. Lacking that, I'll keep the faith that 2013 will be a better year for Griz football!

Surprising? No.... Hammer has terrible "inside" info. If you want to be accurate go.against everything he says. You will be right.

Hammer doesn't have terrible inside info, in fact, it's pretty good. However, predicting the behavior of a 20 year old is unpredictable. You should probably shut your yapper and worry about contributing something thoughtful to eGriz once in a while.

That's the same argument Growler used when Nick Montana didn't show up here! Come on Mr. T, you're killing me! :D

Nice use of pronowns. He didn't want to go to the same program with Gustafson.

Hope nothing but the best for him. Doesn't matter which Montana school he plays for, as long as it is one. Would love to see a Montana kid leading that team in Bozeman, maybe they could get to the big one...

And you and every other E-Jizzer would have lined up to :o him if he'd gone to Missoula

Not me. And I think everyone on here got caught up in it just because he's from Montana. If he wasn't from Montana everyone would be wondering why the hell we're going after Nevada's 3rd string QB. He was 3rd string in 2012 and he would have been 3rd string next year if he stayed.

-1. I don't care who leads that team, I'll always hope they suck.
