if we are stuck with Brown as QB2 then I’m done with Hauck.
When?
Will you be done with BH if….
KB cracks the 2deep?
Takes meaningful snaps?
What if he’s the day1 starter?
What if he’s considered QB2 now?

Then Hauck will have failed again. For the third year in a row.

I’m over here hoping that if KB has to play, he takes the reins, leads us to a NC, and does a Kenny Powers finger sniff to all of us who’ve questioned him.

Well like my daddy use to say…”wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first.”

Like my dad used to say, "A flute with no holes is not a flute; and a donut with no hole is a Danish."

From Herder at Hero:

TOP NFL PROSPECT: Chris Walker, Montana OT — Josh Buchanan ranks Walker the No. 29 small-school prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft. He has the build at 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds. Walker has high expectations this season after transferring to Montana from Nebraska last year. He started all 13 games at left tackle and continued to grow more comfortable there. Thanks to an NCAA waiver, this is Walker’s seventh year of college football.

In all the BSC.

I'm going to go with the new position coach is helping Brown. Brint mentioned it in his post and that's why I think KB could be #2.

Thanks Brett. Boy, I hope our Griz are ready to kick some butt. I am sick of hearing about kitties this and kitties that. O line dictates the good and bad of this offense. Hope to see some new schemes on offense and defense. GO GRIZ

I heard AZ will eat dix if KB turns out to be just adequate. Probably just a rumor, but this is eGriz.

Definitely a mistaken rumor. Probably conflated with the “I’ll walk naked down Main Street…” rumor. Honest mistake, I’m sure.

Our offense was better three years ago because we had a good QB that would make the right reads and we had an NFL receiver and another all-American caliber receiver. Rosey is the only guy to call our offense since they came back. If you think Hauck somehow took over play calling in any way that’s hilarious.

We will be more of a run/play action team this year. Only issue with an offense like that is you have to get the lead. Hard to play from behind when you are relying on the defense to respect your run game.

I didn't say, at all, that Hauck took over play calling. I'm more positive about Hauck than a good percentage of folks around these parts. I was meaning a lot closer to what you are saying, about the roster and injuries. I don't know what guys could run what plays. I'm not in those rooms where those discussions are had. But I see a lot of people blaming Rosenbach for being "boring and overly conservative, only running up the middle and calling short outs." That is certainly not his style while he has called plays here.

The year was an aberration, I get that. I was just commenting on the difference coming up in the offense and expressing that I don't think he suddenly couldn't call plays. I think there was a lot more going on with last year's offense than some seem to think.
I don’t think Rosey did a good job in his tenure here. I have also been very vocal that our receivers last year were very below average. I think it will be better this year but our talent and development at WR has been bad since 2019.

Rosey was the reason they had any offense in the first couple of seasons because they didn't have much an o-line and most of the rushing yards came from getting Sneed out on the edge. You won't see a trio like Akem, Toure and JLM again and was lucky to have the opportunity to work them into the offense. He invented ways to get balls into the hands of playmakers that won games. Last season on the other hand, was a slog of epic proportions. I would agree that the receivers have had.a tough go of it in the last couple of seasons, but that's due in part to uninspired route strategies that meant most of the throws were aimed inbetween the numbers and the sidelines.

I know theres a competition, but when you have a guy like Vidlak, you have an opportunity for an accurate passser to throw guys open. He showed you that last spring. Johnson was a streak passer at best, sometimes you got dimes and sometimes you got uncatchable balls. And I would agree that the entire receivers group needs to get better at route running because it appeared more often than not, each catch was contested - meaning these guys were often covered like blankets and had to fight for the reception.

100% agree with your post. Thanks for reminding us that those three great WRs who Bobby inherited from Stitt's recruiting of that position were truly special. And the fact that we haven't recruited that position well since that time is a direct reflection on the recruiting failures of the current staff. The lack of recruiting success for the QB and O-line positions by the Hauck staff have been accepted by most on egriz, and now it is apparent that the WR position has also seen a lack of success under Bobby.
Bottom line................ Hauck 2.0 and his staff of semi-retired dinosaurs have not been successful of recruiting both in-state, and out-of-state. It should be obvious by now, but so many refuse to accept it. Now, we'll wait for PR and Kem to defend Hauck's recruiting efforts in 5-4-3-.....

Have to laugh at the new support and hope for Brown. This is a kid who has been slammed incessantly by many on this site, with comments like "wasted scholarship", "couldn't start in the Frontier conference", etc. And now, he is our hope for being a solid QB? You dudes are hilarious!

O-line recruiting has been very good. The o-line is strong and deep. Same with rb’s, defense, and punting. We will see if the younger receiver recruits emerge this year. There has been at least 1 strong qb on the team every year.

Which coaches does he consider dinosaurs? Green, Erickson, T Hauck, Cooper, the DC, the new d-line coach?
Pease, Phen, Germer? Even Bobby isn’t a dinosaur.
I don’t think any coach is even 60.

Turd just makes up his facts. Doesn’t know much about team.

It took the stalker third-string blocking dummy exactly 2 minutes to jump on here and spin it.

Just the facts. Feel free to name any dinosaur coach who is even 60. You are the dinosaur.

I have zero faith in KB.

Where's the faith? Has he ever let you down in the past?
Maybe the real question is, "Where's the beef?"
