I’ll find out the score, but I’m not going to be watching the Ocho on a Saturday morning.

You’re the Bizon fan posting on a Griz board claiming you don’t care what Griz fans say about the Buffs. Let that sink in before your 1,100th post.

I come onto this board because
1.) you guys always talk about the Bison
2.) I find the level of delusion to be very entertaining

K.

If you didn’t talk about the Bison, I’d really not ever be in this board.

The other thing is I know if I say something, you will in fact respond. You don’t have it in you not to.
Why do you care if we talk about the Bison? Do you know what the title of this forum is?

I don’t care that you talk about the Bison. Feel free to proceed.

Just saying if you didn’t, I probably wouldn’t be on this board.

I skip to the end of most threads that you take part in because I've always suspected you were "casino dealing", in other words, yes the Bison are the best team of all team in the FCS and cheering for them in another programs town gives you a chubby and we have no real arguement.

That being said, I have to respond because it turns out you are dumber than yogurt. "I don't care that you talk about the Bison.....if you didn't I probably wouldn't be on this board." Do you realize that your first statement contradicts the second one? Of course you don't, my kid has a pez despenser with more smarts.

I've always said that President Trump saying "the Continental Army was named after George Washington" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard but this is ball park.

PS: Dave Dickenson is the most accurate QB in CFL history, Brock Jensen was third string for the Ottawa Redblacks and showed that he couldn't hit sand if he fell off a camel. Easton Stick could be in Witness Relocation Program for all I know and Carson Wentz is one of the two best QB's to play in Philadelphia for the last 4 years. The other one won a Superbowl, Wentz and I have the same number of play-off wins. Check your basement for Radon and pay extra for cable.

You are wrong about Dave Dickenson being the most accurate passer in CFL history.

Dam shame that Jensen tore his labrum, twice and couldn’t come back from it.

Stick is a rookie QB sitting behind a hall of fame QB.

Wentz....not going to even get started lol. Guy has exceeded expectations

You are right, Ricky Ray of Sac St has the record for most accurate, so that's another guy better than Jensen. What Dickenson does have is the highest passer rating in pro-football history by 7.00 full points. The guy in second place is named Aaron Rodgers who is a point and a half above Russell Wilson. Jensen never lost a job up here because of a labrum injury, sorry. Easton Stick is not even active so he's as far behind Rivers as I currently am. Wentz was the second player taken in the draft and hasn't won a playoff game but you think he's exceeding expectations? I'm betting the guys paying him don't feel that way.

Nobody cares what Dave Dickenson did playing hockey in Canada. Jensen tore his labrum while with the Dolphins...then again in Canada when trying to get healthy. Tough break, but that is football.

When Jensen was done, there was only 1 player in college football history, all divisions, who had won more games starting as QB. Brock also beat 4 FBS teams during his tenure. Dave Dickenson might have put up more stats, but you can’t say he was a better college QB with a straight face.

Easton Stick not dressing is not really abnormal for the position, but for fuck’s sake the guy is a rookie. Who the hell knows what he will do with his career. For all you know he’ll go to Canada and obliterate the records.....but the guy was 49-3 as a starting QB in the FCS and a 3 time champion. Sorry dude but he’s clearly CLEARLY on the Mt. Rushmore of all time FCS QB’s.

Yes Carson is exceeding expectations. He was the clear NFL MVP front runner in only his second year prior to having a freak injury. Arguably still should have won the award and lead the NFL in passing TD’s.

Career 93 passer rating with a 96 to 35 TD to INT ratio.

He’s having a dam fine season. Look at the island of misfits he is on. Their number 1 wide receiver right now is a converted QB turned WR that was sitting on the practice squad a few weeks ago. He is on pace for 4,000 yards passing and has a 26 to 7 TD to Int ratio.

The longer I watch these FCS playoffs it becomes more evident every year that home field advantage is a huge benefit. I don't think many people remember but Dickenson and Montana beat an outstanding Marshall Team in their home stadium for the title. That was a huge hurdle to clear. Marshall had better athletes across the board Montana had Dickenson,

Also the fact NDSU plays late into Dec. or Jan. every year gives their entire roster an additional 2-3 months of practice every year. Next year they'll have a Soph. QB that has played 1.5 seasons.

I’ve been expecting to meet the GRiZ in Frisco every year the past 10 years since we were playoff eligible in 2008. DXL vs the mullets. You have been a friggin disappointment, no mullets. About that Bob Stitt hire . . . What were you thinking?

It would an epic meeting of our fan bases.

But for the winning FG drive, the game was not DD's best; he was sacked 11 times. It was far from a one man show. The major credit for the win has to go to the somewhat overlooked Griz defense; they were outstanding in containing the potent Marshall offense led by Pennington. Safety (the difference in the 22-20 score), goal line stand; wonderful LB play.

Don't know how you can lay that at DD's feet (if you are?). What I was amazed at was how he kept answering the bell even after getting sacked 11 times. Gamer.

Oh, and to rebut everything our Bizon friend here has spewed: What we are talking about is college QBs, specifically FCS QBs, and what they did at that level. What they later went on to do or not do in the pros is irrelevant.

DD is in the College Football Hall of Fame. We'll wait and see if any of the rest of the names he's proposed make it that far. McNair? Should be in, but apparently his school hasn't filled out the nomination papers. Romo? Maybe. Armanti? Probably. Jensen? Not very likely. Wentz? Maybe. Stick? Possible, though not likely.

Three names he proposed for the FCS Rushmore:
Wentz
Romo
Edwards

All great QBs, but guess what else they have in common? They couldn't win in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

And one last thing: You rank on DD for winning only one national championship. If DD had had the offensive lines, rushing attack, and defenses that any of the NDSU quarterbacks during its dynasty had, he would have had no trouble winning three championships. Hell, in the season he won his title and Payton he played only an average of 2 1/2 quarters/game, and still ran up 51 passing TDs and 5176 yards passing, with a defense that was good most of the year and only great toward the end, and a token of a rushing game. Give him NDSU's D, O Line, and running attack, and...he could have threatened an undefeated career.

I never said a single thing negative about DD in that game, so don't quite know where you're coming from. The Marshall defense was probably the best they had seen all year, as good as Wash. St. One comment about your post; the Montana OL coached by Bob Beers in that era was the strength of the team. Don Read was quoted as saying that had Craig Ochs had the OL that DD had, it would be his number retired. Of course, Lurch graduated in '94, which may help explain the '95 NC (10, not 11) sacks. Marshall's DL beat up everyone that year. I talked to LT Eric Simonson on the field after the game and he was more than gassed.

Still, the D holding Marshall to 20, when they were averaging 34 coming in was a big difference maker. Crebo and Bouchee played the game of their lives.
