I remember two years ago when the Bears went Dancing and several Griz fans were just waiting for us to get hammered by SDSU. Well, I can say we played much better against the Aztecs then you did against your two previous tourney opponents. Way to go Griz

What tournament were you guys in this year?
What tournament were you guys in last year?
How many top 200 RPI teams did you beat this year?
How many non-conference D1 games did you guys win this year?

I'll give you a hint...all 4 of those questions can be answered with the same 4 letter word that rhymes with "DONE". ;)

I never mentioned we were in any tourney this year nor last year. What's your point?

Point being it's pretty pathetic for a fan of a team that finished 257 in RPI, no tournament, no non-conference d1 wins, etc etc to be talking smack about a team that beat them 3 times this season, was in the big dance, and well... I'm sure even you get where I'm going with this :)
Potomic Griz is top 4 posters of all time on egriz....

No one good wants to play for Montana. Really? Define "good." UM is not a Kentucky, who even despite being truly horrible this year, landed a top high school prospect on name alone. We are not in the running to get a squad of Mcd's All-Americans and never were. UM does however have a remarkable history of developing some pretty darn good players. We shoot close to our normal percentages last night and no one would be spouting this crap. Enjoy what we achieved as a mid-major from the Big Sky, or chuck your Griz cap in the garbage and become a BIg East or ACC fan - cause if you are only satisfied with final-four level play, you will be miserable here. I am damn proud of what Tinkle accomplished, and the spirit of this team. I wouldn't trade the joy and energy of that Big Sky championship game for any first round win...
hmmmmmm, I would...

I'm guessing you were not here for that game then then? This team over-performed all year and went further than it should have considering the injuries and (unplanned) lack of a big post. Getting it done in Dahlberg Arena was special.
Are you kidding? a win in the tourney is worth millions to the school and conference. How do you think those "big time" schools can pay their coaches millions? The Big Sky title is just the minimum ticket to greater payoffs...

Kind of true but in the future look at the bright side we have a promising young guard Mario Dunn Coming i've seen his highlights and he reminds me of a Damian Lillard type player so I guess we'll see these next few years

Ah. No. The NCAA give travel money of about $100k for each round. The big bucks are distributed to conderences based upon their six-year performance. Why it would be immeasurably beneficial for UM to advance say to the Sweet 16, the pig sty would still get less than 1 million TO SPLIT as the conference saw fit. The Big Yeast will get around $28m this year even if they all puke out by the second round. But I wasn't talking about revenue. I just said I wouldn't trade one win on a neutral court 900 miles away for the win at home.
