I remember two years ago when the Bears went Dancing and several Griz fans were just waiting for us to get hammered by SDSU. Well, I can say we played much better against the Aztecs then you did against your two previous tourney opponents. Way to go Griz :roll: :lol: :lol:

And the year before that, we almost beat New Mexico while your team wasn't even close to SDSU. So what's your point?

Maybe be a humble conference partner. It really did suck when some Griz fans were rooting for us to get destroyed.

Point being it's pretty pathetic for a fan of a team that finished 257 in RPI, no tournament, no non-conference d1 wins, etc etc to be talking smack about a team that beat them 3 times this season, was in the big dance, and well... I'm sure even you get where I'm going with this

You are right, im sorry haha...in a way I was just having fun with it, but the rolling of the eyes ( :roll: )did rub me the wrong way....as if any other BSC team would have put up a better game vs Syracuse.

No one good wants to play for Montana. Really? Define "good." UM is not a Kentucky, who even despite being truly horrible this year, landed a top high school prospect on name alone. We are not in the running to get a squad of Mcd's All-Americans and never were. UM does however have a remarkable history of developing some pretty darn good players. We shoot close to our normal percentages last night and no one would be spouting this crap. Enjoy what we achieved as a mid-major from the Big Sky, or chuck your Griz cap in the garbage and become a BIg East or ACC fan - cause if you are only satisfied with final-four level play, you will be miserable here. I am damn proud of what Tinkle accomplished, and the spirit of this team. I wouldn't trade the joy and energy of that Big Sky championship game for any first round win...

I'm guessing you were not here for that game then then? This team over-performed all year and went further than it should have considering the injuries and (unplanned) lack of a big post. Getting it done in Dahlberg Arena was special.
