Whoa. Really?! Lawyers don't leave firms for better opportunities? Or start their own firms for better opportunities? Or change locations to practice law somewhere else with more opportunities? That doesn't seem right to me in my experience. At least not for the lawyers I know. But I suppose I'll have to take your word for it. :?
Sure, sometimes they do, but they can't make all of their decisions based on their best interests. They can't even leave their firm if it would cause harm to a client in an ongoing matter. They also can't contact their existing clients and invite them to come with them, before they have resigned from their law firm.
Don't know what any of this has to do with a discussion about a top player leaving his team to go to another team. Of course, the player can do that. But, is it right, okay, being a team player, etc. Wasn't that the discussion.
What did Griz fans think when Gregorak left UM for MSU? Did they wish him luck and say great for doing what's best for you?
