Classless EWU!!!

Nice try on the drawing there Poison. Not even close to being accurate. Both ends were equally close on opposite corners. Both were in bad spots but not as bad as u proclaim. If that big an issue we shouldn't send our band next time. I know we don't travel much but when we do play we normally end up in corners of stadiums. Not a big deal but the way it is in all of college football. I do consider us friends as we r Montana.
 
Remember when msu band didn't have seats at WA-Griz and had to stand on the sideline the entire game?

They're the band. It happens. They'll get over it.
 
The Eagle fans I met were very gracious. Quit whining about bad fans. Every team has fans who are classless, including Montana. EWU beat us period. Live with it and stop trying to find someone to blame.
 
That cat spitter, big John, should have his scholly pulled and be banned from ever playing collegiate football for a Montana team at any level.

I'm sure we can ask Griz Musician, band people are pretty used to getting abused. Nobody likes them.

Wow! Shame on EWU for putting the Griz band in the same kind of out-of-the-way location as the Eag band. Bastards... Two years from now I'll remind the brass to put the band right on the 50 yard line taking up a couple of section of visitor bleachers. I'm sure it would be no problem charging Griz fans double that of other games AND sticking them in the NE corner. PolsonGriz, be sure to get your seats there. Effing band geek...
 
I have no problem with where they sear the band, but however I do have serious concerns about the structural integrity of those bleachers. They are an accident waiting to happen.

Yeah, because spitting is so much more serious than a DUI, date rape, rolling a vehicle, curb stomping... although according to PlayerRape, it probably is.
 
Well Brokebacker, let's see. Big John chose to spit on an opponent in front of a crowd, on the field, and in front of a regionally televised audience. I can see the t shirts now "MSU...don't spit on me bro" with a picture of a camel with the cat logo superimposed over the camels head.
That is the is the kind of class and play we should all be proud of and attribute to the excellence and coaches of the MSU Bobcats. I wonder how many of the young fans watching will emulate big John and start spitting on their opponents. If Ash is such a great coach this guy would lose his scholly and be dismissed from the team.
Did the Bozo police eer find that serial rapist that was patrolling the streets in 59715? Whatever happened to that basketeball player that got beat senseless by other cat athletes? Was that a career ending beat down?
 
I have to agree, the placement of both bands was dreadful. I couldn't hear either one of them play when that crap they call music was being played over our new sound system. I would much rather listen to the UM and EWU student musicians than the noise we were subjected to courtesy of the folks running the scoreboard.

I for one appreciate the UM band coming to entertain the fans. Well-done Griz.
 
Shameless=EWURanger. Both chicken fans. People can express their opinions on here even if ignorant like yours Ashamed. There is so much Griz ENVY at EWU it is ridiculous (not the good kind). It was a great evening for football at Washington's Grizzly Stadium though. Even though EWU fans are in denial, they ran onto the field because of Griz hate, not love for their own team. Ranger: Is it a good idea to have the opposing players cross the concession area as the only for them to get to the field only to touched, taunted and sworn at by ignorant students? What a bunch of morons.

Those bleachers most likely aren't in place the next time the game is played @ EWU, as the plan calls for the Gateway Project to be completed by 2014.

Ranger: Making fun of Shameless not questioning your integrity. Didn't ask for an apology from you, but just an acknowledgment regarding your fan base. You never did answer my question though regarding the walk through the concessions area. I will give it to EWU, they will beat the Bobcats. Another question: Was Canada speared (helmet to helmet) when he fumbled it in first half? (I am not implying this changed outcome of game in anyway).

It must be nice to not have a care in the world except an obsessive with a mistake made by a 19 year old man. I imagine it helps in avoiding the reality of other issues...which might be a good thing since your reality sounds like a place filled with conspiracy, hate, limited perspective and no opportunity for second chances.

I have more respect for the Griz fans that are fans because they bought their t-shirt on sale at Walmart, then those who act like a spoiled, entitled and abusive child because their team lost. Best of luck.

Gotcha, I guess I misunderstood.

As far as the walk the players have to make (both teams) through the south end zone onto the field - no, it's not a good idea. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how else they could do it under the current configuration of Roos Field. The locker rooms, etc. are located in the Phase (the big building in close proximity of the Pavilion/Reese Court), so that is where they come onto the field from. Maybe they could redirect it around the side of the south end zone seating, I'm not sure.

It's not an ideal situation, but I think the fix will be once the Gateway Project is completed, the locker rooms will no longer be where they are currently located as everything on the west side of the stadium will be scrapped for the new structure which will include new football operations facilities, locker rooms, etc. along with about 7,000 seats in a two-tiered structure IIRC. Until then, we'll have to make due with what we've got. At least we got the new score board this year, which is a nice addition.

Certain cues our program might be slipping into mediocrity:
A.) An admittedly drunk and irritated fan, venting on a forum.

B.) Our continual inability to hire and recruit longstanding key championship caliber coaches and players (Pflugrad, Johnson) that meet the program's standards, and a subsequent 2-3 start to this season, 0-2 in the Big Sky.

Try picking again. Hint: It's not the one that every program has.



Congrats on the win, EWU. I have nothing negative to say, but hope we meet again in the playoffs.
 
Mt head Guy, I do find the spitting act on regional television to be offensive and a bad representation of Montana football and therefore feel he should be severely punished including dismissal.
That being said, my comments are aimed at those obnoxious cat fans that will post negatively about the least little thing that may happen to the Griz. I have grown tired and frustrated with them. Fans like 2506 and msuhunter are good examples. There are some cat posters that come on this site and are constructive and responsible. ILTC and to a degree Opti Prime come to mind.
You can bet your house if ir was a Griz that had been penalized and ejected for spitting there are certain cat fans that would be all over this board making illogical comments.

Maybe you could just realize that when they make those comments, they're doing it because they know it annoys you. Ever heard the phrase of not stooping to their level? You should try it.
