Manase Tupou Commits

Elrod continues to beat this drum that the NAIA football can not win against the Griz yet he has been shown time and again over the last couple years that maybe they could not win but that they could be competitive. Winning is not everything for all of us, well except for Elrod. Can you imagine the amount of Montana fans that would come to a game against two Montana teams, one being NAIA. Great for the state and for the Montana players as well.
Anybody can win on any given day.

Upset recipe:
1 Giant Underdog: Preferably one that was a 20-point favorite to lose.
3 Cups of Overconfidence: Sifted out of the favorite team's locker room.
2 Quarts of Tears: Freshly squeezed from the "sure-bet" gamblers.
1 Tbsp of luck of Luck: Must be a "bobbled-snap" or "gacked-up" variety.
1/2 tsp of Incompetent Ref: For that extra salty flavor when a clear holding call is missed.
Add a half cup of Swiss Cheese Defense: Shredded finely and spread across the entire field.

Instructions
  1. Preheat the Stadium: Crank the pressure up to "Absolute Chaos." Ensure the "boos" are coming in at a steady 110 decibels.
  2. Whisk the Expectations: Take all the expert pre-game brackets and toss them into a blender on "Liquify" until they are completely unrecognizable.
  3. Simmer the Star Players: Let the favorite team's quarterback sit on the bench and stew after a three-and-out. If he starts looking "bitter," you're doing it right.
  4. Fold in the "Laundry": Throw in several yellow penalty flags at the worst possible moments to ensure the momentum is completely curdled.
  5. Let it Rise: Watch the underdog’s hope rise in the fourth quarter until it overflows the pan.
  6. Garnish with Silence: Serve immediately to a stunned home crowd. The dish is best enjoyed cold, while watching the post-game highlights on a loop.
Chef’s Note: If the game ends in a field goal with 00:01 on the game clock and the dish may be too spicy for fans to handle. Have some "Whine-eroni" pizza on standby.

I have been watching a lot of cooking shows lately.

I like how you sometimes deny you ever claimed this, and sometimes double down. If I have been shown "again and again," please share some examples of NAIA teams competing with teams at the level of the Montana Grizzlies. If it is so clearly true, share some examples man.

But you won't.

So oldn', have you flipped from the Griz should play NAIA teams to get all the backups a ton of reps to NAIA teams can give them a run for their money?

Fun fact I just learned, if you google "when was the last time the Montana grizzlies football team played a team from the NAIA?" their AI just absolutely hallucinates answers. That was kind of funny. I enjoyed when it claimed we played the "Western Montana Mountaineers"

I am still good with younger players getting reps. It appears since
I said that things have changed with more NAIA players moving up and not just to the FCS but even FBS. So now I will include that they should play a game. Plus I enjoy giving Elrod something to discuss and possibly proving him wrong.

Will never happen. Zero upside for UM to schedule a NAIA school.

Please do so. I've been waiting on you to provide some evidence for a year or so. Did you have an example of any competitive football game between the NAIA and a team in the FCS at the level of the Griz?

its good to see you back commenting on egriz. Work slow right now?

So, you have no examples to "prove me wrong"?
Man, as an outside observer here with no bias….ElRod is one of the most easy-going, levelheaded, laid-back, non-confrontational posters on this site. For him to take shots from anyone is something to behold. But when there’s literally zero data to back up those shots, it’s a whole other level. Elrod sometimes I found the ignore button works quite well in these situations.

Take me home country roads lol. An AI ruled world might truly be a wild new reality.
