Yes HHB does. I have him blocked. It' took almost 2 decades but I finally couldn't take it any longer.I'm new here. Do you always take things so literally?

Sounds like they are getting more FBS transfers than the GRIZ. I hope we don’t schedule them for a football game. LOLThis happens all the time. Last year the starting RB for Tech was a transfer from Mississippi State. In fact, I think they had a few FBS transfers.
I think that’s probably best case scenario but never know. People surprise all of the time but wouldn’t assume he’s a starter. He’s probably rotating in on 1st and 2nd down obvious run plays then some goal line and third and short is my guess. So probably a depth piece then. I suspect Bailey and Semaulo will be the starters and Wallace and Tupou will be in the rotation.
I like Buffington and Keim too. Keim has the potential to be a monster for us. Hopefully they put on some weight this summer.I think that’s probably best case scenario but never know. I think Buffington and Keim could have huge summers and be something there too.

But I’m sure you don’t see it.
omg no-that should never happen. those teams are simply not good enough to play the goat according to some egrizSounds like they are getting more FBS transfers than the GRIZ. I hope we don’t schedule them for a football game. LOL

I have watched Idaho State play Western Montana in a pre-season game at Holt, in the early 2000s. WMC held their own for about three quarters, but ran out of gas in the fourth. Depth, or lack thereof. I wouldn't short change the NAIA.omg no-that should never happen. those teams are simply not good enough to play the goat according to some egriz
No offense intended to you, but are you talking basketball? NAIA vs Big Sky football is a whole different animal. It is a lot easier to get upsets in Basketball.I have watched Idaho State play Western Montana in a pre-season game at Holt, in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, I put myself through a deep dive on this when this came up a year or so ago. It is so incredibly rare for an NAIA to be competitive at all with a Big Sky team that it is not even worth looking for. It is rare for them to even be competitive with Central Washington and other good D2 schools.
To use the example of Idaho State vs Montana Western, Western is 0-5 all time in the matchup. The combined score is 218 to 30, with two shutouts. The closest game was in 2010, where Western lost 32-3 and Idaho State played a lot of backups.
While I am with you on part of that, especially that those games are incredibly rare to even happen now so it is a moot point, I do enjoy the thought experiment.I would agree with you from a historical basis, with one caveat. Most of these games took place decades ago, I.e. the last game with ISU/Western was in 2010.
Because of massive changes in the recruiting landscape, the rosters for schools like Tech, Western, etc. are dramatically different than they were back then. It's not uncommon for schools like that to have FCS and even FBS transfers, and that would have rarely happened 15-20 years ago. With that, it's really hard to make and apples-apples comparison to today's programs.
These games won't be scheduled in the foreseeable future due to a number of factors, mostly monetary, so it's a moot point.
Football. No offense taken. The football landscape has changed dramatically. I rely only on memory. My point was to take them for granted as an easy win would be foolish. No offense intended to you, but are you talking basketball? NAIA vs Big Sky football is a whole different animal. Ah. To be honest, I just had a totally blank moment in the old brain. For some reason I confused where they play basketball with Holt Arena, and didn't realize it was football. You may want to go back and check those scores. In the 03 game, Western was down 40-14 at the half.Football. No offense taken. The football landscape has changed dramatically. I rely only on memory. Mine isn't great either, must be the concussions. Haha.During my time down there, they played basketball in both Holt and that high school caliber gym. Holt had the disadvantage of having to remove the court in time for the Simplot Games in late winter. https://simplotgames.com/
Thanks for the score update. Like I said, I rely on my memory, and it is, well....
Elrod continues to beat this drum that the NAIA football can not win against the Griz yet he has been shown time and again over the last couple years that maybe they could not win but that they could be competitive. Winning is not everything for all of us, well except for Elrod. Can you imagine the amount of Montana fans that would come to a game against two Montana teams, one being NAIA. Great for the state and for the Montana players as well.I have watched Idaho State play Western Montana in a pre-season game at Holt, in the early 2000s.
