When UM Was Dominant

In that era, the Griz were 7-3 against the cats. Not sure that constitutes “several times”, but I guess that’s a matter of perspective. If you are comparing it to the 16 years prior then I guess I see your point.
1-3 vs Travis Lulay. The 2nd best red headed QB to play in the Bug Sky
Lulay was good, but in reality his stats were not impressive against the Griz. But the state D was great during those years.

Another way to look at it:
In the last 25 years, 2 Montana teams have sat home out of the playoffs and watched MSU teams continue on (2010,2012), while in the same time 19 MSU teams have sat home and watched UM teams continue on.

In the same time period 5 Montana teams have been out of the playoffs before EWU, while 17 EWU teams have been out of the playoffs while Montana continued on.

For more recent history, in the last 5 years, 2 MSU & EWU team have gone further than UM, while 3 UM teams went further than MSU & EWU.

We suck.
The ship be sinkin'.
Fire the coaches.
Our players are fat and lazy.
The dynasty is over.
I'm gonna go eat a worm.

Ha ha
but actually I saw it the opposite way - As I saw it, even during the current "down period", every UM graduating class of players have still been competing in the playoffs as long or longer than the other top contenders in the conference, when their entire career is considered. This years graduating class could be the first since 1987 to not go as far in the playoffs (over their career) as MSU or EWU, but the season is not over yet. When all is said and done this year it could move to 4 of the last 6 years UM has gone further.

This graduating class also has the dubious distinction of being the ONLY class since 1987 NOT to play in an NC game, unless they make it to the game this year...

Bug Sky? Love it.
I'm probably not old enough, but who is the other read headed QB?

Isn't the Bug Sky a six man league out in eastern Montana?

I think it refers to I.D. (Immortal Dave).
 I figured such, but I have no idea what he looks like.

And WHO was are competition then? E Wash? Their record from 2000-07 was 53-40. I don't think we gave them all those 40 loses. Mabey seven if them. And dont bring up Weber cus they were 60-66 from 2000-10. I guess we didn't have alot of completion then.
There's that quality UM education rearing its distinguished head. Harvard of the West indeed!

This is like Mexico making fun of Canada. I know Canada is not the best, but at least it isn't fucking Mexico.

Didn't you go to a community college?
Were you born gullible, or did you work at it? :-)

If he did indeed work at being gullible, such work would pale in comparison to the incredible amount of work you put in to get that certificate. You did the best with what you had. You should be proud.

38-2 from 9/3/00 to 11/15/02 under Joe Glenn
51-4 from 9/3/06 to 12/17/09 under Bobby Hauck

Now, not so much, but look at it this way; if these come along every 6 or 7 years, we should just about be ready for another....
51-4 and those were the days AG1 was unhappy.
The cats beat us several times during those years.
You are very misinformed. During the two dominant periods posted, Montana was 6-0 against MSU:

'00 28-3
'01 38-27
'06 13-7
'07 41-20
'08 35-3
'09 33-19

Oh how I long for the good old days. Hopefully today is the start of a deep run into the playoffs. I can dream dammit.
