We Support Coach Hauck!!! WE'VE HIT 2500!! Updated the OP

Just shot off this email to a number of editors and sports reporters with both the Missoulian and Kaimin. I'm not holding my breath for a response. Feel free to do the same. Their titles and emails are all available on their websites.

Hi (name),

In the interest of fair and balanced reporting, I'm curious why the Missoulian has not given this petition any media attention.

It has been signed by over 2200+ people in less than 24 hours. I would think that's newsworthy given the attention given to anti-Hauck petitions. I look forward to your feedback.

Would Kyle help out at all, what about Shaun Rainey, etc. Would be great to be on the news also. Be worth checking.

Wow that surprises me, hard to straddle the fence on this one!!

We've hit 2500!!

IMPORTANT UPDATE - Shaun Rainey is the only sports journalist to write me back thus far. He is aware of the petition and will be including it in his Monday sports broadcast. That is positive news!!

Thanks man. It's a Griz Nation effort and I'm glad it took off a bit. Maybe a little media attention will get it going even more. Thanks for your help!

Yep good news. When things are in the news people tend to jump on the banned wagon but they fad away just as quickly without the press.

2500 is great. 3700 is even better. That's obtainable.

This is great, good work, and I really like the narrative with this petition too. It doesn't ignore past issues or try to justify or explain them. It focuses forward and sets high expectations, especially off the field.

Have you contacted Bill Speltz ? He has shown Bobby lots of love in past columns.

We have had season tickets for 25 years and want to tell everyone that the most fun and enjoyable games were here when he was the Coach. We also went to Chattanooga 3 times and only wanted another national Championship. This has got to be the best thing to happen to Griz sports since the Champion Center. Go GRIZ Bigcreekjo

Some good news to report....

I'm starting to hear back from more of the editors and journalists. Some were aware of the petition and some were not. The Missoulian has been short staffed but is aware of it and plans to run a story possibly tomorrow. Shaun Rainey also plans a mention on his newscast. The Kaimin is looking into it but hasn't commited to a story, yet.

Just glad it might get some media attention. Keep sharing it and keep making folks aware of it. Thanks for your help!

Thank you. I appreciate all the support of Griz Nation and egriz which made a lot of this happen. May not lead to anything, but I was growing very tired of the negativity against Hauck when there's a ton of positivity toward him too....more than negative.....a lot more.
