Congrats to Ty and the D today. D gave up 16 points, Offense gave up 14 and the special teams gave up 7..not bad for the D since they were on the field most of the time.....again.
Stitt had better figure out how to run an O if he does not have a QB that can master this scheme. NDSU and Poly were able to rush 3 and 4 and stop Montana from running the ball, that can't happen. Here is to the 2nd act with Stitt and hopefully with maturity we have an O that can help the defense.
Bison's 316 yards of total offense was their lowest of the season, and 1-14 on 3d down conversions for the Bison.
And they won...not that that matters or anything.
dupuyer, much matters than winning. You really don't get it, or understand sport. Below is my recent post in another thread:
No, alot more matters than winning the game. Actually, how you play the game is more important. How the game is played shows and builds the character of the team and individual plays. Teams build on that for the next season, and it can grow into to a strong tradition. Individuals learn and use it to live productive lives and be successful in life.
Look at hard the Griz played today, on both offense and defense. No one gave up or backed off until the final gun went off. I was so impressed with these guys today. Despite getting clobbered, they kept playing hard. They wanted another score. They didn't want to give up a score. I thought the desire and never-give-up attitude displayed today, was truly impressed.
Other things that matter are playing fairly, not having anyone get seriously hurt, displaying sportsmanship.
Most of the guys playing today play and played for the love of the game. That and how you play the game is the essence of sport. That's how I played and what I like and respect. The Griz have alot of high quality guys. Crittenden is not the exception; he is one of many.
