It is a mixed bag on what Griz fans thought about TG....many people just did not post about the issues they had with him because dealing with the kool-aid drinkers wasn't worth it...

I call BS to your post. Anyone with issues with TG wasn't close to the program or doesn't know defense, in my view. Huge loss for the Griz and the D.

Lets not forget the players TG had come through the Defenses he's coached. Its hard to remember a year where we didn't have a potential DPOTY candidate at DE....3 stellar LB's every year pretty much for a decade..multiple NFL talent players.....

I dont think him leaving makes these quality of players quit coming to play for the Griz....theres no reason to believe our defenses will quit playing with the heart and passion that WaGriz produces for our defense.

This team will improve and go as far as our O-line and QB play goes...just like the years we went to championchips and semis.....we've always had very good defenses...its the Oline and QB play that takes us to the next level!

We will see how passionate and intense TG's defenses look in the litterbox with its occasional cheers and cowbells!

what humiliation....I stated in the prediction thread that UNDSU was going to win by a couple touchdowns because the Griz offense is too inconsistant....of course you would ignore that for your agenda...and never said that Brady was a great QB.....I also did not see you back you analysis after the EWU and MSU games....

You thought Brady would get 24 points. :lol: I predicted a pattern after a good game, then each successive game would impose more of Stitt's "playbook" and the QB performance would deterioriate, and in the same way overthrows, miscommunications, interceptions and fumbles, a pattern that persisted for Brady's first run, Challich's turn, and Makena's turn, and would likely persist and in fact was precisely what happened at NDSU. The "pattern" could only be due to play calls imposed on the QBs since, as a general rule of thumb, athletes get better, not worse, with passing experience. The pattern I predicted turned out to be exactly true, and exactly on the points I called you out on.

I don't understand how one can say that his defense wasn't good and say he needed to go then follow that up with "he wasn't really even running it". If the defense wasn't good and he wasn't running it, how is that going to make it better next year?

Head coaches I have admired don't talk about how brilliant they are but heap praise on their assistants and the players. Some who spoke out about my original post believed I never paid enough attention to Griz fb or simply had an anti Stitt agenda. I watch and read as much as I possibly can about the Griz. If coach Stitt is successful then the Griz win and I will measure my Griz loyalty with the great majority of posters on egriz. Jeff Choate was a student teacher in my classroom and is a good guy and friend. I don't know Ty but to shake his hand after Griz wins. I am afraid these guys are going to successful. Some Griz fans root for state when they don't play the Griz,I never have and never will root for state. That might be somewhat shallow but I can't just can't do it. After our next win I wish Coach Stitt would have our new defensive coordinator on the podium with him and maybe I won't have to feel like I do today. Go Griz
