Tickets for EWU vs. (Montana)

um, every single home game EXCEPT for when the Eags host the Griz or Cats lol

Patently false statement, but please don't let the facts get in the way of your huge ego.

It was over 11k for those games, which isn't really impressive in the grand scheme of things...but the point is, you can't sell more tickets than you have seats. We've been well over official capacity for some time now during the regular season. Playoffs are a different story. Those games aren't as well attended when classes aren't in session.

Interesting. Then I expect EWU will be making those unfilled seats available for all comers? EWU wouldn't ever play any shady games with ticketing, like shielding unsold tickets from UM fans, when playing UM in Cheney, right?

No idea and not sure what you mean. When have there ever been unsold tickets for a game in Cheney?
Inception-2009?

The 2009 game was played in Missoula. You see, they do this cool thing where they alternate the site of the game every year. Math's hard.

Sorry, Ranger. I thought maybe because the playoff games would be less "well attended", EWU might want to sell some tickets. It's not like EWU ever gamed the ticket situation before when the Griz coming to town, so I thought this would be no different.

Again, I don't really see what you're trying to get at. Each school recieves a certain allotment every year. Do you think Montana fans are entitled to more than that? UM does us no such favor...why would we reciprocate, and why would we want maroon clad folks in attendance instead of our own fans? The tickets get sold either way...not sure what the issue is here.

I heard the EWU is bringing in three sets of these bad boys for the griz fans.

Really?? Wow! That's quite an upgrade over the existing facility. Congrats to Ewoo. And I was under the impression the Gateway Project was a non-starter.

Yeah, I just thought it would be weird for EWU to game the ticket situation in any way whatsoever when the Griz were coming to town. They've never done that before. It's not in the storied EWU Code of Ethics. That's all.

These aren't some of your old bleachers that the red has faded on are they?

They must have ripped naming rights from another distinguished alum to play the short game again! Is it Taipei Jones field now? At any rate, congrats!

Everett, that is just phase one of the Gateway Project. Stay tuned, we are going to have auto flushing urinals in three years.

Just for some clarity on the ticket situation for EWU/Griz playoff game this Saturday Dec. 6th 2014, I spoke directly with the EWU ticket manager, and did ask the question: How many extra seats are being brought into the Inferno for this game? Answer: None, per NCAA rules. How many tickets will be available for the Griz? Answer: 500 per NCAA rules. Will there be any extra tickets in your opinion for Griz fans above that Number? Answer: Possibly, but very unlikely due to the demand on the EWU side.

Thanks. So now the question is will UM do the right thing and make the 500 available to the general public?

That's up to the the Griz tickets office I guess, maybe GSA has first priority?? You should call TICKETS WEST at 1-800-325-7328 for availability.

Thanks. Is Griz Tix part of Tickets West or is Tickets West a Spokane company? I'll call but my fear is the Griz Insiders will get the lions share of the tickets and most of us average fans will be out in the cold.

unsold sold seats at Roos Field will then go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 at 10 am on goeags.com/tickets or through TicketsWest at 1-800-325-7328

I kind of doubt that all the tickets will be purchased by season ticket holders. Beginning Tuesday, they're free game to all, including GRIZ fans.

You are probably correct rogermp. UM will sell it's soul to anyone who will fund infrastructure. Good luck getting a ticket if you haven't given enough $.
