Montana coming to town. The only time EWU can outsell Daylis

We had as many folks at the ISU game as we did the Montana game this year and have sold out every game the past couple of seasons.
thats impressive, got all 2400 people in for every game! awesome. woohoo

Funny. Almost as funny as 4 out of the last 5. Almost. :thumb:

Fear the Griz.

They really do seem to be peaking at the right time. I know, USD would have trouble with Fort Lewis, but the Cats actually put up a good fight in their playoff game -- and the Griz thumped them pretty good. :D

Heard too they are bringing extra stands due to all the demand by Griz Nation.

That's false . NCAA controls all aspects of tickets / attendance, so EWU won't be bringing in any extra bleachers. And NCAA certainly won't

I know you don't get to pick who you play in the playoffs, but I wouldn't put too much into the San Diego game. UNC would probably beat them by 4 TD's.

Not what I heard. Word is that the ESPN producers don't care that much about these early games. That said, I heard that they would much rather have the game in Missoula if they had the choice. Much better environment for a telecast, apparently.

However it's done, they need to put in some supplemental seating. Seriously, how much different is it than the existing seating? EWU won't do it because they are afraid of Griz fans taking over their stadium like in the old days before Woodward Field was renamed.

lol. go home CDA, you're drunk.

It's too bad they can't move this to a real stadium so the FCS could showcase a real crowd, oh well I guess it's up to NDSU to carry the load again.

Those were pretty funny when they came out a few years back. Haven't heard it in a while. You should rip a couple "That's what she saids."

I guess you agree with EWU's reasoning behind the refusal to add supplemental seating? And if you think ESPN wouldn't rather have the game in Missoula, you might not have a triple digit IQ. Thanks!

I don't give a fuck where ESPN would rather have the game. The game is in Cheney because EWU is BIG SKY CHAMPS (for 3rd straight year) and because EWU already kicked y'alls ass earlier this year. Go Eags!

Oh, for not giving a fuck, you had a pretty interesting initial response to the notion.
Rule #12 of becoming a relevant program: "Not giving a fuck" what ESPN wants is not advisable.

Thanks!

Will be waiting for your apology after the game. Normally, I'd shake your hand after but not after what I'll know you'll be doing with it all day!

GO GRIZ!!

Griz would have won by at least 21 more if they had taken them seriously.........

And Rule #1 of becoming a relevant program is winning, and lately, that's all EWU seems to do. Especially against Montana. So while y'all are the champs at message board participation and games on ESPN, EWU is the champ on the field. I think we're happy with our relevance at the moment.

At the moment is a good reference.

You'll learn very soon that Rule #1 can't be everything because you will have down years. Mastering Rules #2-15 is therefore necessary to sustain relevance over a multi-decade period. You have to be able to ride out bad seasons. You guys aren't anywhere close to being there yet.

Here it is in a nutshell:

-If the Griz beat EWU next week and lose the next, many people will consider the season something of a disappointment, even though we would have confirmed our superiority over EWU on the field.

-By contrast, if EWU beat the Griz next week and lost the next, EWU fans would still be jacked about the season because they won the Big Sky.

Hope this helps.
