Tickets for EWU vs. (Montana)

We had as many folks at the ISU game as we did the Montana game this year and have sold out every game the past couple of seasons.

They really do seem to be peaking at the right time. I know, USD would have trouble with Fort Lewis, but the Cats actually put up a good fight in their playoff game -- and the Griz thumped them pretty good.

That's false . NCAA controls all aspects of tickets / attendance, so EWU won't be bringing in any extra bleachers. And NCAA certainly won't

Not what I heard. Word is that the ESPN producers don't care that much about these early games. That said, I heard that they would much rather have the game in Missoula if they had the choice. Much better environment for a telecast, apparently.

However it's done, they need to put in some supplemental seating. Seriously, how much different is it than the existing seating? EWU won't do it because they are afraid of Griz fans taking over their stadium like in the old days before Woodward Field was renamed.

You'll learn very soon that Rule #1 can't be everything because you will have down years. Mastering Rules #2-15 is therefore necessary to sustain relevance over a multi-decade period. You have to be able to ride out bad seasons. You guys aren't anywhere close to being there yet.

Here it is in a nutshell:

-If the Griz beat EWU next week and lose the next, many people will consider the season something of a disappointment, even though we would have confirmed our superiority over EWU on the field.

-By contrast, if EWU beat the Griz next week and lost the next, EWU fans would still be jacked about the season because they won the Big Sky.
