Tickets for EWU vs. (Montana)

havgrizfan
And yes, you could be correst, often times the eastern ticket office holds out group tickets until the Wednesday before the game, but they are usually scattered singles. I get the same emails, which said they are sold out, but call and there could be availability. I did call on 2 occasions, and they had NO tickets available. But hey, call, cause you never know, and that includes the day before. Good luck all!!!

Montana coming to town. The only time EWU can outsell Daylis

We had as many folks at the ISU game as we did the Montana game this year and have sold out every game the past couple of seasons.
Technically not true. Think about it.

SELLOUT v. WOU!

Talon, you should quit while you can still walk away. Seriously, dude. The beatdown you're receiving here? It's hard to watch.

Posting pictures from last year's playoffs? As was already mentioned, those games don't typically sell-out over the winter break. Montana's lone playoff game last year wasn't close to a sellout either, BTW. Nor was this weekend's game against San Diego.

The picture you posted reference free tickets are for students. Since students normally get in free for regular season games, student government and the athletic department stepped up and bought an allotment so that some of them can attend a playoff game for free as well. I think that's pretty cool...not sure what's so embarassing about it.

Ok, roughly 200 fewer for the ISU game, so technically you are correct. Both were still over 11,000. Not bad for a venue that technically has only around 9,000 seats.

Weather was the biggest factor both last year and yesterday. Roads were so bad in Montana that many Griz fans decided to stay home or turn around after attempting to get to Missoula.

EWU fans have got to stop coming on here and trying to reason with egriz. 90% of the people on here can't handle factual statements and are only concerned with trolling. To them, we'll always be a directional school in the middle of a wheat field with gimmick turf and a small fan base. IMO, that makes beating the Mighty Griz that much sweeter and ending their season will probably only fuel their non sense further.

Good luck to the true Griz Nation this weekend and Go Eags!!

1. Wait, what? I thought there were no unsold tickets in the last two years. This doesn't add up. What gives?
2. Nobody claimed UM sold out every game for the last two years.

Thanks!

Yep. Not too many Griz fans will understand the "reasoning" behind saying every game in Cheney has been a sellout for the last two years when some of those games have seen crowds at less than 50% capacity. They don't teach that kind of "reasoning" at UM.

As for the bold, how is any of that incorrect? Is it not wheat?

I was just reading the EWU message board, and I found out that...

[We interrupt this post to inform you that Eastern Washington apparently does not in fact have a message board.]

You guys JUST NOW came to the realization that you're a directional school in the middle of a wheat field with gimmick turf and a small fan base?

MAN, you fellas are SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW.

"........90% of the people on here can't handle factual statements and are only concerned with trolling."

I, uhmmmmmm, do you realize.......?

Never mind.

Bottom line is a premium game played at a lousy venue. That's ok tho. With only 500 fans aboard The Griz will show up and go toe to toe with ewu and the announcers will take a lot of jabs at the "surroundings." Time to knock these guys off their perch. :thumb:
