I honestly dont really care about this...if I'm a coach and get a kid to verbal to playing for me...and I go to another school where I think he could be helpful to me still...damn right im gonna call him and ask him if he wants to come play for me......

In this kids case it would just make it much more embarassing for whomever does swith when we beat thier ass annually for the next 4 years.

What pisses me off at times is when Griz fans say they are the best program in the nation and then they are worried about recruits leaving their program, thinking that a former coach may steal a recruit.

Why would that vim you off? Seriously, why would you get vimmed off by what griz fans say and worry about, which has nothing to do with your vim-poor program? Isn't that the definition of lil bro syndrome?

Missed the point. I'm saying most of the Griz fans I am close to would not even worry about losing a recruit because they believe in their school and program. My rant was a bit off the OP but just saying in general. Worrying about losing a recruit to lil bro is, in fact, lil bro syndrome.

Not sure the complaint is really about losing a recruit.....think it is more about the move being a little classless...

I found this article about Chris Peterson's poaching Boise St recruits last year. At the time of the article, he had taken 4 of them, and had just won another one over Boise St. Look at what this author said (no big deal) and what the poll said (no big deal). Again, I don't know the ethics. I've seen what some of you have said, but would rather have more definitive information.

Ty was flying around the nation on the Griz expense account recruiting kids for UM....Stitt wasn't on MSU's expense account recruiting for Griz. Yes, Stitt used his Mines contacts etc......BUT not in same NCAA level, let alone conference. Bottom line, comes to ethics....we know TG's. Not like first time he had issues crossing lines.
