State Senators speak out on Williams' Regent Confirmation

there have been too many UM athletes convicted or suspended over rapes, assaults or burglaries during the past year

I know of 1 athlete convicted for rape, 1 athlete suspended for rape allegations then acquitted, but am confused with regards to the number of "too many" UM athletes convicted of suspended in 2012 for assaults or burglaries. Did 2Pat just make that $hit up to support his position that he is needed to save the world from UM student athletes?

"We need a better recruiting system because the current recruiting system is letting in too many thugs. And that has to stop,” Williams told the Missoula radio station. “As a member of the Board of Regents, I intend to do what I can to make sure that very limited thuggery stops.”

So which is it 2Pat ".....too many thugs" or ".....limited thuggery"

It seems Pat is confusing the U with MSU when it comes to assualts and burgleries in 2012.

Blgs Griz Fan--correct. Remember last year when PW was calling out Griz players out for player on player fighting. That was at scat town. I e-mailed him about his comments and he wrote back challenging my purpose in writing him. He never did explain his comments. Typical PW.
