Predictable from a guy who didn't even graduate from a college.
There is no need for insults and name calling, which you have been doing alot of. People who do that, I find are usually losing the argument.
You are a Cat fan, and you said losing to the Griz doesn't bother you (BS). Why do you even CARE? I thought before you said you didn't.
Yes, I haven't been called any names here at all, have I? EverettGriz's entire MO is insulting people from other schools via personal insults. If pointing out that a fan didn't go to college at "their" school is an insult, that's on that fan, and not on the person pointing out that they aren't a graduate.
You're a Utah State fan. Why are you on this board? Why do you care? There is no chance of UM being in the MWC as things are structured right now, for a variety of reasons that I've brought up, yet the only responses I get have to do with me being an MSU grad, "second-tier," a "moron," etc. etc. Nobody will address adding sports, adding scholarships, adding to coaching salaries, greatly expanding the recruiting budget, raising ticket prices, and needing a body-bag road game each year in place of a home game.
Yes, I am a Utah State alum and fan, and I got my graduate degree from an Indiana university. I have been following the Griz since Larry Donovan was the Head Coach. I grew up in western Montana, and I am a fourth generation Montanan. Most of my family still lives in Montana. I almost went to UM or MSU (beginning to be real glad that I didn't go to MSU), I applied to and was accepted to both. I had lived out of state (Utah) for a couple years after getting out of the military so I would have had to pay out of state tution that is why I went to USU. I got in-state tuition. I hope that is a good enough reason for me to follow the Griz. Not being an alum of either school I also used to pull for the Cats when not playing the Griz. That is starting to change of some interactions with some of thier fan base.
I have always said there would be challenges to the Griz moving up. Player Rep has outlined that challenges quite well. I don't think the Griz will ever move up. My point all along is that it COULD be done and I use my school for an example that compares unfavorably to the Griz in several ways. Yes, I know it would be a challenge and the Griz don't have an invitation to join the MWC, I get that just saying it COULD be done if the right people were in place and made it a priority. Just like USU starting to be decent at football after 30 years of futility. There were people like you, Northwest that said it COULD NOT be done at USU and then they would list of many disadvantages that USU had for thier reasons why USU would never again be good at football. They were proven wrong. With the right people and a VISION the Griz COULD do it, has been my only point. I don't think they will. Yes, I WISH they WOULD, I would love to see my two favorite teams in the same conference again. I also agree with those that say UM looks more like a typical MWC school than a typical BSC school.
And when you call those that disagree with you "stupid", that is an insult. And giving Spanky such a hard time for not going to college is not right. You have no clue what his situation is, maybe he couldn't go or didn't NEED to with the choice he made for a career. Some of the smartest people I know are not college educated and some of the bigges douchbags I know have college eduations.
