Isn't there another player who can replace Bo Tully? I cannot believe he is the best choice. I supported him and even praised him several game this year, but he is back to his 2012 self. Nate Harris has some serious cover issues that I believe are lack of confidence. If you notice, Goodwin plays right up on his receiver and tries to deny the ball from the start, Harris plays 5 yds off and allows a running start.
Agree wholeheartedly with the anology of the defense getting worse. Nothing on the defense has changed (playerwise) all season. Time to insert players who want to make plays and not just be happy to be on the field.
I predicted 400yds passing for JJ, over 100yds each for Henderson and Jones and over 100yds for Jordan C rushing, almost got them all. I think Jordan C. hit the holes better this week than any week so far, he jumped outside several times, but for the most part, followed his blocks, (what little blocked holes there were.)
I don't understand why these big fella's, our O-Line, can't just push their defender forward everytime. Is it because they can't get low enough? Maybe they ought to line up on their knees.
All in all I thought the Offense looked better this week than in the past four.
Defense needs to wake up and get some balls. Gregorack needs to push some buttons!
Tully is the best at the position and has been having a good season, playing the best ball of his life, according to the coaches. Didn't appear to have a great game on Saturday. I like how Tully is playing this year. Has made some big plays. No, he's not an all-american like the UM all-americans who have played before him. Pass coverage and tackling from strong safety are not always easy. Lots of area to cover and decisions to be made, and it's tough to fill quickly and make every tackle, and tough to tackle one on one in space. It's easier to see mistakes in the secondary, because there aren't other players around them, and mistakes often result in big plays for the offense.
