I still don’t think Stitt had a clue what he was getting himself into and the expectations from the majority of the fans here. There are many of us that saw first hand the Metamorphosis of the program from bad to become a National power. Now we know and feel it slipping away. Stitt has proven thus far to be a nice guy and a mediocre coach. At this point he certainly doesn’t give me a lot of confidence that he will get us back to a national power and consistent Top 5 Team. I truely wish he would prove me wrong.
It didn't "slip away". It was ripped away in 2012. Four HC's in six years will do that to a program. Loss of schollies will do that to a program.
Agreed. Listen, I'm on the Stitt bus, for multiple reasons. Some are football related and yes, some are personal. But I also can't imagine him being here after another 6-5 season. I really feel 7-4 gets him an extension. I think there are good things coming. I also think changes need to be made at some coaching positions. It is getting just ridiculous to come on here and it's all about: Stitt bashing, Whether they're going to go 1-2 or 0-3 the last 3 games, how much the cats like him as a coach, if throwing left handed will take 3 quarters to get used to or if its just the other team letting off the gas. I mean really.
I love good discussion on here, but honestly do not understand what drives people to be a douche on a message board. Really that's enjoyable? Even azz clowns on here have good points at times, which, if they weren't said azz clown, would lead to good discussion. I just want the Griz to win every week. I want the kids to get better, and work toward something special the next few years. They win at least 9 games next year if Stitt stays. If you are truly objective and watch the kids play, you can see what they have going. If you have an agenda, you can't/won't/ask for "proof"/don't want to hear it.
I'm watching Saturday, doing the usual screaming, throwing stuff, and hoping for a big win. If not, I'll do the same next week...and the week after. GO GRIZ!
