Yeah, I thought that was a weird serving platform and background for a $90 bottle of scotch, but different strokes . . .

I thought the Ajax dish soap was a nice touch...however I'm a Dawn man

We know. Everyone can tell a Dawn man within a few posts. It's a fine dish soap, but I favor Palmolive--the hard stuff. For the record, I knew the very presence of soap of any kind meant this wasn't AG1's house.

:thumb: Didn't Palmolive ads have Madge the manicurist in the old days???

You're damn right! She was something at the wrap parties. Ursa could tell you some stories about Madge's "abilities."

Funny shit. This thread has huge potential.

Great first post in the thread by Badlands, got a nice laugh out of that one.

My wife was texting me earlier that she ran into a well-heeled gent we know at the liquor store, and that he was purchasing a $260 bottle of single malt something or other, and that they had a discussion. More recently she said that I was going to love the gift she got me today. I may have to snoop around... :)

Just the correct mixture of class and rawness that I have come to expect from AG1..a man who would hit you with brass-knuckles, but warn you first..

However, the fu*kin' guy does know how to ruin a decent scotch..too much ice brother..a few splashes of water will open it up just right..

Finally, the App State game is fun to watch..you will never see me bitching about bowl season..would be like a meth addict complaining that their ice ain't blue..

Not a scotch fan but I have heard good things about Highland from those that are. Also not a green towel fan but I have heard good.....never mind.

I used to be a Palmolive dude until I dated this chick that said they used Dawn to save baby ducks or something. She was cute and did the dishes so I didn't argue with her. *shrugs shoulders*

I also appreciate the quality of vessel the scotch is poured into. I've certainly experienced the joy that comes from drinking top shelf liquor out of Gas Station Glass. It just tastes better somehow.

You gotta do what you gotta do, man. Hell, I know a guy who was very pro-Palmolive until some chick at his house started snorting powdered Ajax.

I'm not much of a scotch drinker but I applaud the vintage towel! Looks like the one I kept underneath my bed during my adolescence.

Agreed. I really love the towel prep. It's like, "Hey, this is about to get weird, so let's prepare accordingly with a bath towel." I can't say I haven't done the same. But it was long ago. With a girlfriend. In a much different, but often somewhat related, endeavor.

The dishsoap thread is already complicated enough without introducing Joy into the mix.

Yeah right, no doubt NDSU will win but not by 3 TDS.

NDSU 23-17

Too many points

16-10 JSU wins

2 points from a safety.

Probably going to be the best football game we've ever seen at the FCS level

Nice touch? What about the full trash bag and the wet towel draped over the chair? It looks like my college apartment....

Can we have bourbon instead of scotch? Alpha, I figured a man like you for an all American still of drink. You're outsourcing your libations out of the country you silly liberal......... :coffee:

This is to be viewed only with appropriate reverence and respect. I Chromecast this shit to the flatscreen in the bedroom while I take my slumber. It's very comforting. But be advised: once you begin the video, there is no pausing or stopping the stream. It will not resume play. In fact, a 10-hour video of Nick and his amazing wife Megan arguing about their mortgage and how much time he spends at his woodshop appears in it's place. (It's actually very interesting...and yeah, she pays it--dude totally hit the lottery with that shit).

My only caveat is that he's wearing boots and not lambskin slippers.
