Dude...Im dead. The septuagenarian actually believes the internet knows Brent Pease's net worth  Good god get a clue old man. Is this your first day on the internet? Stick to things you understand, like solitaire, remotes with giant buttons, and soiled Depends.

The fact that you think you think anyone actually believes Pease is willingly taking a massive demotion and pay cut simply out of the kindness of his heart just because he loves Bobby is straight up idiotic. It's totally beyond the realm of believability.

Ask him.

The fact that you think knowing the wide receivers coach for the Montana Grizzlies is a flex is pathetic and sad.

And yeah I will ask him... because asking people about their financial standing and sudden lack of career opportunities is a sure fire way to the truth

Surely even you can't be this ignorant. There is no way you actually believe this.

Andreas, you are a huge loser. Over 40 and can't even get a date. Mr. Creep. Nice job mucking up one of the few good football threads on egriz.

Awww look, I got under the skin of the illustrious self-appointed Mayor of eGriz yet again.

Nobody cares that you know Brent Pease dude. I actually feel pity that you think that's something to brag about.

I'm sorry your fragile ego couldn't handle having your ludicrous explanation summarily dismantled. One would think an lawyer as self-important as yourself would be capable of a cogent argument.

I dig the 4th grade level insults though. Mr. Creep. That's a good one

Don't you go changing...

Do…do you expect him to say he’s only here because he got fired elsewhere? Lol. His career was on a downward slide before he came here again.

Mouse Davis was 52 years old when he perfected the run and shoot offense. Although not the inventor of the offense, he is considered the godfather of it. June Jones was 45 when he tweaked it at Hawaii - or if you prefer he modernized it.

Then that was the modern game, and age of coaches has absolutely nothing to do with how modern the game is. So many other factors do.

By the way, the run and shoot was invented in 1958, but not considered en vogue until starting 30 years later. I guess 3 decade old offenses were good enough then.

It’s has just as much to do with knowing how to coach todays youth and the things they find important.

I can agree to that

This was 10 years ago. Pease is 58.

"Pease is set to make at least $1.8 million over his three-year contract with the program, according to the contract released by the University Athletic Association on Tuesday.

Pease was hired from Boise State in January and his deal with Florida is through the 2014 season. He will make a base salary of $490,000. He received a $100,000 signing bonus, and will be paid an additional $100,000 at the end of the 2013 and 2014 seasons if he remains with the program."

"As of January 9, 2023, Brent Pease’s net worth is $5 Million."

100% believable. I know plenty of people that live in Missoula, and Montana for reasons other than money. They could make far more in other states but choose Missoula. I;m amazed you think otherwise. Missoula is the last best place. Why wouldn't he want to live here? Money doesn't motivate everybody, although it sounds like it does you. I freely admit, it does me too. lol

And I have no love for Pease. I've interacted with him directly while he was a student, and we almost came to blows because I told him what he was doing what not cool, and that he could hurt someone. He offered to go at me, but bouncers grabbed him, escorted him out, and told him to chill or his coaches would know.

Sounds like a typical Friday night.

Seriously though...I don't know if it is good or bad to have so very few coaches seeking to climb. While this may provide exceptional experience, might it also provide a lack of fire. That may be the essence of 75s post above.

I guess I'd prefer to have to worry about losing coaches every year because they are seen as "hot" commodities by bigger schools.

Western MONTANA may be “the last best place”, but Missoula most assuredly is NOT. I get depressed every time I come back…nothing but shitty little casinos and pot shops everywhere now.

We go to every home game and the best part of the weekend, other than the game, is getting out of town Sunday morning.

The games I go to I stay down the Bitterroot with family (and even THAT is starting to deteriorate). Only come to town for the games, and maybe a Mo Club burger. I spend almost zero dollars IN town.

Lol do better Jack. Do you honestly believe the things you say?

While I genuinely enjoy the absurdity of your explanation, it makes absolutely zero sense. Pease hasn't had nearly the sustained success or longevity as an OC that would allow him to take a massive regression in both title and pay for 5 years just because he gets a kick of out coaching with his buddies. It's not even remotely believable.

Andreas, yes, I believe everything I say, and it's all correct. Why don't you ask him? Or, because your daddy is no longer around is feed and give everything to you, do you not know him?

If that's the case, he has no reason to leave. That's good money to work at a great university.

We Missoulians are always so happy when you depressed weekend warriors leave town. We like the peace and quiet and happiness.

I'm with you on about 85% of this. First, I don't know anything about coaching CFB, because I am not a CFB coach. I do think that consistency at the HC position is important, but I wouldn't mind seeing "hot commodity" coordinators using UM as a springboard. I also feel that way about players doing the same thing now that they are free to do so. I'd like to see us try that angle in recruiting, but different topic.

So what areas near Missoula do you still consider worthy of consideration as "the last best place"?

what this dude said. i have interacted with him on multiple occasions and he was a first class dick every time. knew a few of players that played under him here back in the day and they hated the dude. maybe he's changed, i haven't interacted with him in a number of years. i hope so for his sake and his players. i am underwhelmed by his resume, but hopeful that somehow he will fit bobby's square pegs into a few round holes with some degree of success.

The transfer portal fundamentally changed college football overnight. The only question now is how quickly coaches adapt.

I always stay with Governor Dutton at the Chief Joseph. I do try to steer clear of Beth's husband though. He threated a stop at the train station if I didn't straighten up.

Swan Valley. Deeper into the Bitterroot. Hwy 12 to Lolo Pass. Sawtooths. Sapphires. Skalkaho Pass road all the way to Porter’s Corner, West fork of the Flathead (Polebridge Road area), etc., etc.
