No sports in Washington.

What? Texas is allowing pro sports to occur, it hasn't said anything about NCAA

Neither has Montana or most states officially, but its happening. If California, Oregon, Washington and all the other super cool progressive states don't want to participate that's fine.

The article is referring to pro sports only. You mentioned colleges. I’m referring to the fact that if Texas is opening to pro sports, but other states are not, who will they play?

No kidding, probably a hunch of egrizzers will suit up and play the Dallas cowboys. Pretty stupid comments about California, Washington and Oregon.

I’ll bet you $1,000 The BIG 12 has a football season. I will DM you my Venmo account and we will settle up after the Big 12 Championship is awarded. Deal?

You really think The University of Texas won’t play football this year?

All three of those governors said they prefer college sports not to come back this year. You get what you vote for.

Are you even capable of making a non-political post?

Mods (if there even is such a thing on this board anymore), split off these political posts from the nutjobs and place them where they belong, while the adults in the room continue to have a civil conversation.

I don't think anyone knows what is going to happen. I think Texas said they will play in front of fans, but it will be 20% capacity?

I keep wondering what is going to happen if fans are allowed at college sporting events, but only at a fraction of capacity. For many FCS schools it wouldn't matter much, but how would UM decide who would get to come to games? This could be a nightmare. It would almost be better to say no fans at all. (Please God no since I'm ready to book a plane ticket to come to at least one home game this year)

I’d love that action as well! If people don’t think there will be football in the Big12 and SEC I’ll take any wagers.

Not to mention all the other conferences in which they’ll be a football season.

Oh, well. I'll go back to rooting for the Griz outside this forum for awhile longer.
Hope you don't stay away too long! Some of us appreciate your contributions.

Thank you, sir. Too kind.
It's been awhile since I contributed much.

"You get what you vote for" is hardly a political post, especially when talking about whether they support or care about college sports. WaGriz provides a lot of very good info on egriz. He sits on a UM committee/board and has frequent access to what is going on with UM sports. Or maybe that's another WaGriz.

Everett, why don't you provide more substantive posts on Griz athletics. Most of your posts are complaining about posters or the conference.

Perhaps I’m not posting anything regarding GRIZ athletics because there currently isn’t any GRIZ athletics.

But our conference still sucks shit. And really, the only poster I complain about is you.

You have not posted hardly anything about Griz athletics for the whole time you have posted.

My view is that that is because you know little about sports and not much about Griz athletics. After you went off some UM committee, you had no info and no knowledge of sports like football.

What is complaining going to solve?

It's supposed to accomplish something? I thought the whole goal was just to complain!
