Sam Houston is a good team, and you know what, I think they beat NDSU. :shock:

msu looked weak and slow against Sam Houst. They were over rated for most of the year. It was evident in the final game they were in over their heads. Yes msu was co champion with Eastern (who beat them at home) and they beat the lowly Griz but they should have been ranked not higher than 12th.

msu posters keep blowin and gowin on our board.........quite frankly they sound silly!

Coach Baldwin should have collected coach of the year award, not clean ash!

The Cats did hold the SHSU running game to 200 yds under their average. The Cats didn't lose because they were weak and slow. They got hurt with a less experienced offensive line and by a few big mistakes. Rankings are a crapshoot but their record being 11-1 put them near the top. With EW the Cats missed a field goal to tie it in the end and they were without Cody Kirk for that game. The Cats were the only team to have two first team All Americans this year and Caleb Schreibies winning the Buck Buchanan Award. That's not blowing and goin Umista. Thats a good season! Your post makes you look small Umista!

BUT...Bigsky33, you're still trying to argue that the Cats played SHSU tough? Give that one up buddy. It doesn't even fly on Bobcat Nation. Of the three games SHSU played against the Big Sky in the playoffs, the only blowout was against MSU. Deal with it...Why not celebrate all the great things your team did this year than try and convince a rival fan base that you the Cats didn't get smoked in ONE game this season when even most of your fanbase will agree that they indeed did get smoked.

I would agree that the Cats only lost 1 game and it was against SHSU. The EWU loss was embarrassing because that game was in hand until the 2 plays swung to score their way. Which makes the point. Against Sammy we left 2 TDs on the field that would have made the game an entirely different one. It didn't go that way, and the score reflects that. It is likely that Sammy is the NC, which ain't bad for MSU and its only loss.

Also, thinking that MSU was up only because UM was politically sidelined this year is a sad case of denial.

Actually that was/is my point! The game is never as simple as points on a board but has tons to do with momentum swings and how a team responds both with it and against it. Had the Cats scored, would they have won? Maybe not, maybe yes. To say they were a horribly outclassed group that day is juvenile and pouty!

No shit... we should ditch our "organ offense" and pick up on the Kats "O". Wait, I got a better idea... let's pick up on the NDSU and Cal Poly defenses that shut it down (and will again). And while we're at it, I like the Sammie funky orange and blue uni's... but they need more black in them for recruiting and being badass.
