weberwildcat said:i dont factor in history because i know this is no automatic win for weber! griz have won 25 in a row yikes.
it is interesting though that griz haven't won in a reg season game in ogden since i think 2004. in rahe's 7 years at weber i think he has only lost 4 home reg season games.

mtgrizrule said:Maybe some logical Weber State fan can answer this for me. Who are the leaders of this team this year? Are they lacking some strong leadership from the players?
but it is really nice having a discussion with educated fans who know the difference between backcourt and frontcourt
Yeah, but in this week's match, it is going to be the Side Court that is key and UM has a lot depth and ability there.WSUWALDO said:By the way, even though I don't always agree. It is nice coming over here to talk basketball. I really don't have much to say about football, and I'm sure that will continue next season (I'm praying for a .500 year), but it is really nice having a discussion with educated fans who know the difference between backcourt and frontcourt.

I of course have no room to talk since i dont watch weber play other than against the griz. I am a huge basketball fan and watch every second of it that i can. I watch every griz game live or on the internet. I have seen bamforth get absolutly dominated by the griz( WILL CHERRY'S defence). I notice he hates to be physical and tends to be hesitant on his shots against the griz. I think in order for weber to win he has to play well, that being said i dont see it happening against one of the best defenders in the nation in will. I am not saying bamforth isnt good, i just have not seen what weber fans rave about with him. I hope the griz stay physical and play hard. I know weber thinks they are the much more physical team but that was not the case in Missoula and although it ended up being a two point game it was not that close, due to terrible exicution at the end by the griz.

Bamforth is a very capable shooter, but I tend to agree he hasnt performed at the same level of his great soph season the last couple of years, and does seem to struggle some against the Griz but i think hes a much different playrr in Ogden and if he gets on a roll, look out.
