keys to beating weber

They sky is falling, ahhhh lookout. Help, we need to fire tinkle and bench all the players. We are terrible!!!! No way we will win anymore games. Everyone in this conf sucks. We are terrible!! Weber is 600x better :shock:

Dude, calm down the griz laid an egg. We had a terrible game. Give Weber credit they played well and shot outstanding. AT HOME. We still have the conf. Lead!! UM will play with Davidson!! Weber will beat oral. Idk if you noticed but our losses this year keep looking better. SF our worst loss, recently beat byu and are pretty decent. BYU is a good team this year and is playing well. Colorado State is now top 25. And Weber is a great team and excellent at home. No way Weber shoots like that in Missoula. Not a chance in hell. Also there is no way Montana shoots like that at home!! Montana should run the table and get the tourney. Weber has a few tough games left just like us. The bigsky tourney is set up for the home team to win it. Idk if Weber will get to the championship game if the tourney is here. They just are so inconsistent on the road. I hope they do because it will be fun to watch. Look at will..." its one out of twenty, it was out letdown game" "If it was going to happen vs anyone, I'm glad it was them"

The griz are the real deal, we are one big man away from being top midmajor. Weber is the real deal too, they are good! Give both teams credit and stop freaking out like a teenage girl on the rag.

:clap: dude, i wanted to get on here lastnight and type up somehting nearly like you said on the ISU 2 game thread but it was late and all negative posts really forced me to just leave. Its like after one loss, to the other top team in our conf, on the road no less half the people assume we are shit! Its insane! Splitting conference games with weber st is pretty much expected...if we took both it would be a bonus, if we lost both a major disapointment. Im not happy with how we looked in that loss, but like will said, its one out of 20! No team plays their best every night and some nights it can be down right ugly, and it was thursday night. We bounced back and didnt have a let down lastnight which was very important. 5 road games in a row, that is a beast for any team...we r 1-1, with 3 more to go. We have the week off till davidson, we will be prepared for that team and focused. We are a good team, and there is no reason we dont win out in conf and host the tourney! Gotta love basketball at the adams center in the second week of march!
 
How many well defended/difficult shots did Weber State hit? How many wide open looks did we miss? The difference in that game, Weber State hit everything,and the GRIZ hit very little.

I expected the GRIZ and Weber State to split before the season started. I am not really that worried after this game. The problems is, our fans expect too much sometimes, and forget every team is capable of bad game any game. I will take the majority over the minority of GRIZ games this year. I believe they will be just fine, when all is said and done.

Wow,calm down, there, fella and can it with the sexist remarks that sound more like a junior high drop out. If you can glean all that from what I wrote, you are truly a wizard. From what I have seen this year, Weber state is simply a better team than UM, not by much, but just enough. That being said, you might just want to check the power ratings, the records and the rest of the FACTS about the Big Sky Conf. it is simply not very good. Perhaps you are merely venting and projecting your own frustrations. Personally, I think our coaching staff is pretty good and learning more each season. Not sure where your anger comes from...and, I would be very pleased is the Griz were to pull out a win at Davidson, but unless they are shooting extremely well, as Weber does consistently, that is a tall order. UM still has MSU on the road, as well....Save your hysterics...
 
The Griz are a good basketball team, thus, a win at Davidson is possible. Maybe not a likely win, but possible. We have excellent coaching and talented players, so why not?
 
After watching Ohio State get their ass handed to them today, I feel much better about our ONE GAME that we lost in the last 2 months. It happens and you move on. :thumb:

Yep. It's rare -- for any team at any level -- to go through a conference season unbeaten, and usually one or two losses are simply wtf moments. It's not unusal at all to have one of these games.
