Definitely doesn't look good for the dean's testimony.

Holly Anderson's testimony is going to really hurt the prosecution's case.

This whole case is he said/she said. Other than the abrasion "down there" there is no physical evidence. I think the retired nurse from Florida said that could have been caused by the rape exam?

Pardon me while I try to play legal pundit for the moment.....

One lingering question for me about this trial is the idea of not using a condom. I've heard that disucussing past sexual partners is not admissible, but I'm kind of surprised neither Jane Doe, nor JJ were asked about whether it's common for them to have unprotected sex, as I assume neither were virgins before that night. It would seem the answer to that question (assuming judge would allow) potentially could have opened a pandora's box one way or the other (maybe that's why no one asked the question?).

Do any of the legal minds have thoughts on this?
that's a trap question for JJ. Cause if he answers I usually do....it looks like he raped her.
if he says no I don't.....he looks like a sleez ball.
jj wanted to avoid that question.
that is why they made it obvious that she asked him and he said he didn't have one. Meaning he did not intend the sex before, and she said "its OK" which leads him to believe consent.
That worked in his favor. The prosecution, maybe should have asked that question. but I guess must have had reason not to.

Is "It's OK" in the testimony somewhere? Might not "It's OK" be interpreted as consent?

yes, jj said that is the words she used. "its ok"

Any guesses why this witness was called by Defense? It seems there must be something big coming.
trying to say, accuser does not seem to be upset. someone with all the same classes has never seen her cry

Which makes you wonder if there are 65 students in their pharmacy class why isn't there more saying they didn't see her cry?

I was thinking the same thing, but kind of fell flat of what I was expecting. I'm not sure this witness helped the defense.

Agreed. Or at least I would have called her before JJ.

My guess is that the limits on witnesses probably kept Paoli from calling all of them as a character witness.

? for you "in the know"...How long are closing arguments? I guess I'm wondering if the jury will get this today?

(never been to a trial, hope I never am)

UM dean of students Rhondie Voorhees has been called by the defense #JohnsonTrial

This could be interesting.

Usual rule is one hour each, with the prosecution splitting time before and after the defense. Exceptions can be made for longer closings, and my guess is that they will happen tomorrow.

Thx 24.

I'm rrrrreeaaallllyyyy not trying to come across as a conspiracy theory guy here but I can't help but notice that with the last witness the FB photos were tossed out and then got a tweet back that on cross all of Paoli's objections were overruled. Maybe I'm just off here and he's trying to intentionally cross the line of the pre-trial parameters set but it seems the prosecution wins out on way more objections.
