Just as MTOutsider states, we need to move on with a job that will not be easily accomplished. That task will be to help the rest of Griz Nation, the state of Montana, college football fans across the nation, and even those folks that have never heard about Grizzly Athletics until now, to see that we are a proud GRIZ NATION, and can not nor shall not be judged solely by the talk, news reports and rumors that have tarnished who we really are over the past half year.

Exactly, I have a close relative that is exactly like you describe, completely different person after he hits the top of the hill and starts the home stretch. It's still no excuse in my book, hence that's why I feel absolutely no pitty for Johnson guilty of rape or not!

First of all, like the rest of us I do not know what actually happened between these two young adults. The matter is in the legal system and I trust that system will find out the truth. That being said, many years ago I sat on a jury for a sexual case. I can remember the prosecutors opening statement and during those remarks I stared intently at the defendant think he was a low life sob.
Then came the defense' opening statements and my opinion changed to the point of wanting more information before forming an opinion. The case ended in a hung jury with 11 favoring innocent and one holdout for guilty.
Right now we are at the equivelent point of the prosecutors opening statements and I would encourage everyone to slow down and wait for the trial before getting too upset. If JJ is found guilty then he will be held accountable and punished. If not he will always be tranished as having been accused of rape.
Keep in mind Jane Doe's injuries could very well resulted from "rough sex" which is not too uncommon. I am not dismissing the injuries but just pointing out they may be an alternate explaination for them.
I think we should keep both young people, their families and friends in our thoughts and prayers that justice is served and lessons learned.
