I'll bet BN breaks their record for number of users online tonight.

I doubt it, we will all be watching the TX HS all star game, MSU recruit Dakota Prukop will be playing QB, should be a good one :thumb:

Check it out if it just to depressing for you to read about JJ's high moral fiber

Did the Bozo police ever find the serial rapist in Bozangeles a few months back or did they just turn their heads and look the other way for fear of what they might really find.

Didn't take long, someone is comparing rapists. Well done.

Opti, I have a daughter starting at msu this fall. I am concerned for her safety because of a bozo perv cruising around commiting rapes. The incident between JJ and Jane Doe was between two acquaintences.
Although it is truly sad this incident happened, we will finally see how the legal system attempts to produce the truth.

I demand to know just what the Gallatin County attorney is going to do with Scott Ash. That is the real elephant in the room here.

No, you implied that the police are are actively turning their heads to let a rapist free on the streets. That's pretty fucked up. :|

Well he has spent some time in Missoula, so he probably thinks its that way everywhere

I know I'd be kidding myself if I thought that the less dignified fans on both sides of the Cat-Griz rivalry weren't destined to talk huge amounts of ugly smack about this, but the most important thing at this point is that JJ gets a fair trial, and that a just result is reached. He will probably never be our QB again, but somehow that doesn't seem very important right now.

The reason for the delay may well be the same reason 500 some other cases are being examined. Its not necessarily a bad thing just terribly misguided. There has been a belief that because the "trial is so hard on the accused" the prosecutors office wanted pretty good assurances there would be a conviction. If you read the affidavits later parts referring to PTSD and other post rape syndrome it seem as time went on there was more certainty of a forcible rape. JJ statement that he didn't want his other girlfriend to find out wasn't helpful..... (or a testament of character)

Its a sad day for both kids, the program will be fine. But two lives are ruined.

Great Post..as a father of an athlete that was a rape victim at another school you are right, the matter is never closed. btw 2506 your joke about the "UM legal hazmat team" is not funny, the University had nothing to do with this, and even your feeble mind should be able to comprehend that...

Thats why I said they ran out of smoke, with the DOJ, DOE and the NCAA in town they cant really operate like they have before, even a griztard should be able to understand that.

Enjoy while you can 2506. This is about the only time you have joy over football. You get your ass handed to you consistently by the Griz, so if it makes you feel better - then post away. JJ owns his actions, not the other players on the football team. If I was you I would go back to worrying about your own program and it's lack of success. See you in November - loser!

I'll admit, I bought into the idea that the school was trying to expell him to cover their asses, what with the expulsion talk without any charges, but it's pretty damn hard to justify that anymore. I doubt the county would charge him if they didn't have a pretty good idea that they'll get a conviction.

If he's innocent, it'll come out in the trial, but he's not and will never be our QB again.

Good luck to him if he's innocent, but good riddance otherwise. Time for all of us to simply move on.

The charges brought forward are far bigger than any game or any rivalry. Spot on.

I wouldn't be too surprised if the University isn't caught in some embarassing moments in the trial....did you look at the list of witnesses that will be called......Aronofsky and Couture, both high ranking UM officials....and a few other lesser known ones. Paoli will be licking his chops on cross examining these two ex UM officials.....don't forget about all those "redacted" e-mails and names from the Federal Court disclosure....those will be damaging!!!! I know Paoli (and his brother Fred) he is one tough SOB and will have no qualms about deflecting JJ's alledged guilt over to the U as much as possible. This is not gonna be good for UM.
