Dear Mr. Bison:
Passionate Griz fan here. And that is G R I Z. One Z. One.
I am also a Cobber so spent four years in Fargo-Moorhead. I did my student teaching at Ben Franklin Junior High. Love North Dakota and Minnesota; love the people - gracious, kind, funny, generous, compassionate, humble. Minnesota has to be; how else could we Vikings fans go on with our lives year after year?
I know you are proud of your team and their stellar accomplishments. But your arrogance and superiority complex are not attractive. I would love to see Griz Nation have the same respectful and welcoming relationship with the Bison faithful as we enjoy(ed) with Appalachian State (even after they won THREE national championships). But you are making it hard, Mr. Bison, because I'm starting to believe your huffing and puffing represents all of your fans and that just can't be the North Dakota I know. And if I'm starting to feel that way . . .
Good luck in the playoffs. And as others have said so eloquently: enjoy every minute of the ride. While it lasts. :thumb:
