If I were NDSU...

Dear Mr. Bison:

Passionate Griz fan here. And that is G R I Z. One Z. One.

I am also a Cobber so spent four years in Fargo-Moorhead. I did my student teaching at Ben Franklin Junior High. Love North Dakota and Minnesota; love the people - gracious, kind, funny, generous, compassionate, humble. Minnesota has to be; how else could we Vikings fans go on with our lives year after year? ;)

I know you are proud of your team and their stellar accomplishments. But your arrogance and superiority complex are not attractive. I would love to see Griz Nation have the same respectful and welcoming relationship with the Bison faithful as we enjoy(ed) with Appalachian State (even after they won THREE national championships). But you are making it hard, Mr. Bison, because I'm starting to believe your huffing and puffing represents all of your fans and that just can't be the North Dakota I know. And if I'm starting to feel that way . . .

Good luck in the playoffs. And as others have said so eloquently: enjoy every minute of the ride. While it lasts. :thumb:

Go on Bisonville. You will find more Grizz posters than Bison posters on egrizz.

Out of curiosity I broke my rule and looked at Bisonville, there have been 2 Griz posters there this week, one with 2 posts and this guy who I think everybody knows, talking about eGriz...

"Why would anyone go to that site for anything football related?

Just a bunch of dick riding, idiots that attack anyone with an objective thought process. In fighting, name calling, personal attacks and the dumbest "football IQ" fans I have ever come across."

So I have to call bullshit on that, and NOW can we close this ridiculous thread at least for a couple weeks until we see if this game is actually going to happen?

Again. Not trying to be a dick. I have tons of respect for Montana's program. I just think that if NDSU plays Montana 10 times, they win 9 of those games. I say that and immediately your fan base starts a dick measuring contest.

Grizz fans display as much arrogance as any fan base. There is equal if not more bloating from all of your fans. One of my foundest memories was sitting in Washington Grizzly stadium in 2003 and listening to fans make fun of North Dakota, call us a JV team, say you were going to kill us etc etc. I left that stadium and didn't hear another Grizz fan make a comment about NDSU.

If this games happens, any of you can stop by and drink as much beer at my RV as you want. Just because I have a lot of confidence and pride in NDSU doesn't mean I am a jerk or represent the attidudes of NDSU alumni and fans.

You should try posting in that same vein. ;)

It's interesting. NDSU has nothing to prove. "bison" apparently does. Oh well.
If this game happens, watch out...they'll be a ton of them over here looking for Griz fans to bow before them. Worst fanbase in college football...

Im quickly starting to realize that...they've been good at this level for 4 freaking years....do it for 2 decades in a row and than come back and talk to GrizNation Bisondousche

Are Lakes and JBB banned here? If not it will get much....much worse. Fortunately any Griz fans that come to Fargo will have a much better experience...too bad we have a few too many idiots posting online and unfortunately they all have some kind of complex whenever the Big Sky is thrown into the mix.

NDSU is on top of the FCS and rightly so. No problems with that. But fans of NDSU do not puff out your chest too much.
Montana does have a tradition of bringing down powerhouse dynasties, such as Marshall and most recently App State.
App State had won three straight FCS championships (one more than NDSU) and they were well on their way to a fourth, except App State with Armanti Edwards (was a senior at that time) ran into Montana and lost their last game. Since then they have pushed to go to the FBS level but have not been the intense powerhouse that they once were.
Seems vaguely familiar since the NDSU QB is a senior now. Could this be deja-vu all over again?
Just remember NDSU fans that this is not the first rodeo that Montana has been through. Through the years Montana has been in epic battles with Marshall (I believe Montana ended Randy Moss's career), Eastern Illinois (ended Tony Romo's career), App State (ended Armanti Edward's career), etc.

Technically, Randy Moss did end his career against Montana...I just don't think it happened in the way you mean it...

The Griz coaches need to study the UNI game closely. The Panthers started that game fast and were leading in the third qtr 23-10. Once again, the Bison had 37 min T.O.P but had 2 turnovers. Jenson was held to 99 yards passing. Like any great team, you have to play all 4 qtrs balls to the walls. This game proved they are beatable. You cannot let up or turn the ball over against the Bison. If you do, they will dominate the T.O.P and leave you demoralized.

More like Randy Moss ended many Griz seniors' careers. He was at Marshall in 96, not 95, when he destroyed us. But, we did beat Chad Pennington in 95.

Montana beat Marshall in 1995. Marshall beat Montana in 1996 and ended the year undefeated. They moved to the FBS in 1997, Moss's last year with the team.

Montana beat App State at Montana and were favored to win that game.

Again not trying to be a dick, but living in the past means nothing absolutely nothing about the present.

This entire thread is a sad case study for why internet trolling actually works.

Folks, take a chill pill. Go back and look at this guy’s posts since he signed onto e-griz.

Here is a hint. He is winning.

We also beat #1 JMU in their house after none of their loudmouth fans had given us a snowball's chance in hell.

My bad on the Marshall game.
Not living in the past, nope.
Just stating that Montana is not a run of the mill team that will fall apart in the playoffs if the opposing team gets ahead or if the opposing team is a dynasty in the making.
Not living in the past but pointing out that tradition comes into play when you are dealing with a team like Montana.
Yes tradition does not win games, but tradition enters the mind of many players that "we have been here before and we know what to do to get the win"

Some people don't have to try, they just are.

The 2013 Grizz will beat the 2013 Bison if the 2013 Grizz team causes turnovers and gets a big lead early. They will not win the game by talking about how great Washington Grizzly stadium is compared to the Fargodome, how much North Dakota sucks, how great Montana's tradition is compared to other teams, how Montana has beat good teams before etc etc.

Then you must just naturally be a dick if you're not trying. Do you read any of the messages after or between the one's you respond to?...cuz he was already corrected at least twice.

Griz fans, just stop responding to this guy.

AG1 is embarrassed for you and this epic facepalm you are providing the FCS world. He and I both wish you would show some assemblance of firing at least one synapse in your brain and just stop with this charade. It is very unbecoming and classless.

AG1 also wishes some Griz fans and all of Bison Nation a very Happy Thanksgiving.

And the Bison won't win the game by you talking about how great your team is. Now :stfu:

That right there is one-half of a synapse.

So what you're saying is Bison = AG1 (the original)?

Thanks for that info...once a douche, always a douche
