If I were NDSU...

It's interesting. NDSU has nothing to prove. "bison" apparently does. Oh well.
If this game happens, watch out...they'll be a ton of them over here looking for Griz fans to bow before them. Worst fanbase in college football...

When your whole state is a shithole, you tend to over-emphasize the few good things going on. It's all they have people, let them enjoy the success. ;)

Oh and I think most teams would also disagree with your statement about the Fargo dome being tougher or more intimidating to play in...WAGRIZ with a blizzard..17 degrees and a deafening crowd of 26 thousand right ontop of you..much more intimidating than playing in a dome at 70 degrees and 19 thousand ...just saying..your a dumb ass

Been to WG 3 times. Fargodome is much louder. Has hit 130 decibals in there. Inclement weather is an advantage to neither team, unless one team is from the south.

Which is often the case in the playoffs..teams from the south or east coast... and I'm curious why no coaches ever mention the Fargodome when talking about the loudest places they've ever experienced..while you can find numerous quotes of coaches comparing WAGRIZ to Autzen or LSU Tiger stadium...again..your talking out your ass.

130 is the highest ever recorded decibal level for a football game at the Fargodome. I believe Washington Grizzly is 117. .

Coaches, players, and fans do talk about how loud the Fargodome is. Quite often actually.

Let's be clear, however, a few dumbasses on a message board don't constitute a "fan base."

Something about athletics message boards causes visitors not to notice all of the reasonable posts and reasonable posters on the board, and instead to zero in on the dumbasses and dumbass posts. I'm guilty of this myself, often when reading Bisonville.

Dear Mr. Bison:

Passionate Griz fan here. And that is G R I Z. One Z. One.

I am also a Cobber so spent four years in Fargo-Moorhead. I did my student teaching at Ben Franklin Junior High. Love North Dakota and Minnesota; love the people - gracious, kind, funny, generous, compassionate, humble. Minnesota has to be; how else could we Vikings fans go on with our lives year after year? ;)

I know you are proud of your team and their stellar accomplishments. But your arrogance and superiority complex are not attractive. I would love to see Griz Nation have the same respectful and welcoming relationship with the Bison faithful as we enjoy(ed) with Appalachian State (even after they won THREE national championships). But you are making it hard, Mr. Bison, because I'm starting to believe your huffing and puffing represents all of your fans and that just can't be the North Dakota I know. And if I'm starting to feel that way . . .

Good luck in the playoffs. And as others have said so eloquently: enjoy every minute of the ride. While it lasts. :thumb:

Semifinals: Number 1 ranked James Madison vs Number 4 ranked Montana

According to the James Madison fans they were invincible playing at home. Score: Montana 35 - James Madison 25

http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2008-12-12-montana-jamesmadison_N.htm

Is the 2008 Grizz playing the 2008 JMU Dukes? Didn't think so. That game has absolutely nothing to do with NDSU possibly playing Montana. Different players, teams, coaches, game location etc etc.

That post had more to do with the douchiness of the fans...

Remind you of anybody else with recent success now stinking up our boards? :coffee:

One time I remember the Grizz barely beating a shitty USD team, who despite being shitty, took the ball and ran it down your throats. Then I remember NDSU playing that exact same team and it being 35-0 with 14 minutes to go in the third.
Was that the same game that NDSU was up 42-0 in the 4th quarter and NDSU was still passing the ball? good thing Joe Glenn has mellowed or we would have had another photo of him flipping the bird. #stayclassybohl
I believe NDSU passed the ball 5 times in the 4th quarter, but the backup QB came into the game in the 3rd. Maybe they wanted to get him some experience passing the ball just in case. I believe NDSU even had their 3rd string QB in for a short time during the 4th quarter. NDSU was being very kind at the end of that game. They were not trying to run up the score.

And to the fellow Bison fans in here, please try to be a little humble. Act like this isn't the first time NDSU has ever been successful. I think the Griz fans for the most part have shown they respect the team/program that NDSU has, but I can't blame them for getting a little upset based on the "untouchable" attitudes that some NDSU fans are having. I don't think anyone is arguing that NDSU is the favorites if this game happens and the favorites to win it all, but anything can happen. I think this Montana team is a little better than the Indiana State team in 2012 and YSU in 2011.

I am really hoping this game happens. Obviously I expect NDSU to win if it does, but any team can be beaten on any day.
