Ya you are right KSU should have won that game.
I watched two teams play that night. The better team won. Frankly it wasn't even close. Look above and the stats do not lie.
NDSU does one thing better than any FCS team. They line up and run the ball. Then they run it more. Then they run it and break your back. Wanna stack 8 in the box? Great we will run it more. If push comes to shove, we have a QB who by the way also threw 26 TD's this year and has won 4 FBS games and has won more FCS games than any QB.
I also remember that until that final drive that created the statistical difference to which you refer, NDSU was trailing as they had most of the game.
I was physically at that game. NDSU wad ahead 7-0 at the end of the first. KSU scored with about 10 left in the second and it was tied 7-7 at the end of the half. Back and fourth in the third and KSU had a 4 point lead after 3. Up until that final drive, yards were even, but NDSU still was leading that game everywhere else it counted but were down by 4. KSU scored two huge TD's on broken pass coverage. Besides that, NDSU physically controlled a BCS team on both sides of the ball, and eventually wore them down. Everyone at that game or with any insight into the game of football saw it that way.
The game of football is 4 quarters long. You have to play a game of football for 4 quarters. NDSU brings it for four quarters every single game. This is how we win games. Sometimes we win sluggfests 14-7. Sometimes we beat USD 40-0. Point is that we ALWAYS play 4 quarters of football and over the course of 3 full seasons and 2 playoff runs, have won 39 out of 41 games played and are 3-0 against FBS teams, 2 of which are from BCS conferences. You can say all the shoulda lost crap that you want.
I would hope you were actually at the game since "you" win games and "you" always play 4 quarters. "You" have a nice run going in the last three seasons...I vote for you as team mvp and mascot...so when is your eligibility up and when do you graduate? And are you thinking of going pro or maybe just sticking with playing for the Bison...
