Typical 1st game, lots to clean up. I enjoy the excitement of the close game, better than a lopsided affair.

No but, if we are scoring and confusing their defense, and playing with urgency, that's all that matters. It's working. The passing wasn't.

Offense has looked better but until he starts completing passes downfield he’s not “the dude.”

The run blocking has looked a lot better when they’ve ran on the perimeter vs running inside with the exception of the plus 1 qb runs up the middle. Pass blocking for the most part looked to hold up well.

Last year's offense with lucas was much better than this iteration. Going to be a loooong season once you start playing teams that give scholarships.

Gillman's numbers shot up when McDowell entered the game. Gotta admit that was fun to watch.

Not sure if either will be the dude, but I can see both getting play every week.

I think Vidlak played okay. The first int is t on him at all. The second was a bad decision all around. Ended up scrambling right into pressure then throwing back across his body. I do think if he leads the WR, it’s catch and run.

Every W is a good W, but man was that frustrating to watch. Lots of stuff to clean up.
