Don't care what other people do, but as for me, here are my thoughts....egrizzers are a bunch of gas bags. We get on here and talk and throw out opinions like they mean something. They do not. Sugar coaters and growler1's have no bearing on the performance or ability of the team. I would hope that Delaney would not give two rats asses about what any of us think.

I get the frustration, but why would you make blanket statements like "no nickel package" when you weren't really paying that close of attention? I at LEAST would have gone back and watched the replay before sending an email like that.

Did you notice that Tripp was one of the down lineman in some passing situations?

I think the most surprising part of this thread is that Tim assumed that Delaney has a computer in his office and uses it for something other than Solitaire between getting a brisk walk in and practice.

I appreciate your honesty and your signing the letter to Mick with your name. I would not be embarrassed at all if I were you. Good for you. The problem I have is that Kanangota did get beat one on one with the wide receiver, but the same thing happened to the bobcat corner yesterday. That Hill is just plain faster than everyone else. Nickel, dime, whatever. If you end up man on man with him, he is just going to beat you and Adams is going to get the ball to him. EWU has shown they are the class of the big sky.

Looked like it to me. It was definitely the most creative Gregorak has been from a defensive set stand point, in my opinion. Tim, I respect putting your name behind this, but your credibility (from an x and o standpoint) gets crushed when you admittedly state you did not really watch all of the game. But, who fu*kin' cares what I think..

I don't know what all the fuss is about blaming the coaches.

You can't teach speed.

You can't break down on a tackle if you're not in the space in time to do it.

EWU had three or four Ellis Hendersons split out. We have our Ellis Henderson

So true, EWU has elite speed all over the field, including RB. Vernon Adams, said post msu game, that WR Hill (lighting fast game-breaking WR) has 4.3 speed. Cooper Kup, that FR from Yakima, is a nightmare to cover as well, and possesses incredible hands.

I've screamed (pardon the pun...screamin eagles) on the message boards for years that UM needed more speed (at WR, RB, DB), but they have continued to only employ one speed demon per year...Mariani, then Sambrano, then Henderson, ect. The last two years they have started to bring in more, Walcott, Naccarato, Jones, and the tall kid from Indiana that is red-shirting. They are starting to catch on to the fact that speed kills.

Now if we can get some physical corners (and safeties) that are the best athletes on the field, I'll be happy. Hopefully the red-shirts are that.

Yet we continually return to read and post on this site. Gas bags - sounds about right. We are all a bunch of frigging gas bags who post and post and post. MD does not give a rats ass nor should he. I would be concerned if he returned one single email during the season. If he does - we have a problem. Spending time reading emails from fanatics during the season - priceless. Spending time watching film, meeting with coaches and the team, practicing - probably a better use of his time, but what do I know - I never played the game.
