Arrogant, pontificating, agenda-driven, self-aggrandizing mysoginist with limited basic reading skills.

This man is the stuff of dreams.

PS. I'm not referring to Ursa. He actually reads quite well.

Oooh, me? Pick me! Is it me? I can't read!

Nope. Sorry CDA - your sense of humor disqualifies you. ;)

Damn, did you hear about one where one the . . .

I wonder if there are any posters/readers out in the hinterland that don't read eGriz everyday, every thread. Naw, couldn't be. That would take other priorities, y'know, like job, kids, marriage, hobbies....life, in a word. We know all eGriz posters/readers don't have lives...news from a month ago, or longer.

Sorry if you don't pay attention, it was all over eGriz, Twitter, etc. You can go back to bitching about what a shitty moderator I am now.

Well, you're better than Peyton who is like the wind on here...

Moderating does not require being a condescending prick.
It's hard to tell on this forum. There's the old saying, if it weren't for double standards, there would be no standards at all.
This thread is a good example. A fine young man did not find his future at the University of Montana, and its an opportunity to thank him and wish him well. "Peyton" often goes off on posters that "change the thread topics." Read the last several posts. But, the moderator will do nothing. "Moderating" here appears to depend on whether the moderator agrees with the posts, knows the posters, or is just sleeping, not by any particular reference to his professed standards.

Anyway, the thread WAS an opportunity to extend some deserved recognition to Chase for his efforts here. Whitworth will be quite a culture shock from the University of Montana, but its a nice, quiet little campus. A Christian school, its stadium is a bit high-schooly, but adequate for a 3,000 student population school. He ought to be a star there. It's the difference between sitting on a bench and being on the field, and so he undoubtedly made the right choice.

Gee. Somebody needs to tell Mr. Mazzolini he's tweeting old news. What a loser.

It is after all his job to be on top of the day to day operations of the program. When a receiver with 41 catches decides to leave the team that something you should be able to find out rather quickly if you've developed any sources at all....he also characterized another reporter's work as "misinformation" when it turns out that reporter was accurate....I for one think this guy sucks ass. Bring back Speltz or Fritz

="rimrockgriz"]I wonder how long it will take you f....s to get it in your head that smurfs can't get it done in Div I football... :egriz: some of you f...... never... will.

Love the Blanket Statement. I could keep going but....

He threw some shade at the coaches on an Instagram post. Said he transferred cause the new coaches didn't treat people well.
Meaning he didn't get enough playing time or he didn't like stitt well?
Team member Twitter accounts have been thunderously silent about the latest coaching additions. No congratulations to Semore, the kinds of things you would expect for a coach these kids have had for a year now. It is a contrast to the many positive tweets on Gregorak and Legi.

I thought maybe it was just because it was over a holiday, but wow, since then, still just nothing from the team. Then this. I guess we just "live in interesting times."

It is also interesting to see self-proclaimed knowledgeable "fans" now attacking good kids, individual Griz players as "smurfs" and deserving of their fates. Geez, what a bunch ...

"Thunderously silent"?? Now you're Earnest Hemmingway? Are you stalking all the team twitter accounts?

Seriously, if all of these posters drive you so crazy and get you so fired up why don't you just stay away from the site altogether? I am not sure if I've seen you make one positive post. Everything you post challenges people or spews of negativity. You're like that Saturday night live character, Debbie downer, who is always down and out and brings others around her down as well. You know the one that says something and then the trumpet sounds Brrrrrr brrrr brrrrr. Perhaps a good anti depressants would help...Pristiq is solid!

It's Hemingway, not "Hemmingway."
Stalking,
noun
1. the act or an instance of stalking --harassing another in an aggressive, often threatening and illegal manner, 2. of or relating to the act of pursuing or harassing:
Uh, no.

Not sure it will be much of a culture shock....since Chase grew up within a stone's throw of the campus basically....

The irony of your comment when I am pointing out that the thread ought to be limited to its topic, and giving the kid best wishes and good luck kind of underscores the stupidity of your remarks, based as they are on insisting on personal attacks, challenging the premise of the thread and spewing negativity instead. Do you think before you post? My point on that post was that the moderator "goes off" on certain threads when the topic is lost, clamps down, locks them up, but then practically encourages it on others. Nothing that "drives me so crazy and gets me so fired up." I mean, seriously? A single sentence in a passing comment about "double standards" and keeping threads on topic is evidence of being driven crazy and fired up? Generating multiple sentences of your own in drama queen objection? If that passing remark generates such an intense reaction in you, I suspect you suffer some hormonal hysteria on your part.

I enjoy your hypocrisy; it is a nice cognitive dissonance. Thanks for your continued efforts to derail the thread. I am sure the Moderator will be right on it.

Seriously? Wow. I'd say you two are definitely in the minority on that one. Between AJ and Kyle, Griz athletics is getting much better quality coverage these days. Journalism these days is not just about what you publish in the paper. It's utilizing Twitter, YouTube, and other online media to give your audience more extensive coverage. AJ and Kyle have brought the coverage of Griz football and basketball into the 21st Century. That's something that's been a long time coming. I know most people I've talked to feel the same.

Please don't pour me in the same dish with Mr. Gittes' soggy Cheerios. My comment was meant to be sarcastic - I'm sorry it didn't come across that way to you. I started the thread because I follow A.J. on twitter and wanted to share his tweet. I had seen speculation that Chase might transfer, but nothing definitive until I saw the post. My point was, another poster said this was old news . . . that it had been on egriz for weeks or months. So my comment was directed toward that poster. I like A.J., I like Kyle and I follow both closely for the latest scoops and news.

Brrrrr Brrrr Brrr....perfect! Let's just ignore your 47,212 other Debbie Downer posts on EVERY thread ever made and instead focus on just this one. Which was also negative by the way. Well done bud.

I'm not sure I appreciate the claim of close attention to my 47,212 posts, and a detailed examination and critique of their content and an apparent obsession with handing down judgment on all 47,212 as to whether or not they meet your exacting standards of good cheer. I am in awe of the amount of time you must have to pour over an internet football forum, inspecting each post for the quality of content and assessing your personal reactions to each one. In this case, a single sentence about moderation quality really set you off into a multi-sentence diatribe and explosion of anger and angst. If that was in any way suggestive that you are somehow "reasonable" or "normal," I'd say, get over it, "bud" and yourself, as well. But, it doesn't.

Of course, isn't this just how you derail threads?

Brrrrr brrrr brrrr Debbie strikes again. Maybe a side of Aricept with that Pristiq would do wonders for ya. I heard if you walk into a room of 100 people and 99 of them think you're an ass hat at the end of the day, then there's a good chance you're an ass hat. The same can be said about Egriz. Time to look in the mirror and try to smile once or twice when you go on one of your Debbie Downer diatribes (the Triple D...I like that....maybe a new screen name?

And yet another thread ostensibly about a player bites the dust ....

In any case, Chase, "most" UM football fans hope that you have a great career at Whitworth, and thanks for the excitement and courage you brought to UM Football. I think "most" do appreciate it.
