Chase Naccarato transfers to Whitworth

I think there is always player turnover when any new coach comes on board. The players being recruited by Stitt and staff
will be much happier because it is all they know compared to players that were here with the old staff.
I like the fact that Stitt seems to be all business not going to be anyones buddy and plays those who work the hardest and fit his style.

Chase was the most disappointing Griz I've ever seen. The kid could never get away from coverage, he never broke a tackle, he dropped more than he caught! The kid was not even close to Division 1 talent. His dad should shut his pie hole about slamming the Griz affording his kid a free education for the past 3 years. He is D2 quality at best, but honestly D3 at very best. Best of luck lil guy. Flame away!

I agree with your talent assessment, but didn't want to blast a kid on here who put in a lot of work for the program and stayed out of trouble. I did not however, like how he publicly claimed "The new coaches don't treat people well. So I left." Which is a bit of a reach if you ask me. I think he left because he was mad about his lack of playing time and blamed coaching. I think he'll do really well at Whitworth.

I agree. I'm glad there was no Twitter, and nobody ever published what I had to say, when I was his age. I think he'll kill it at Whitworth.

Holy shit, I couldn't imagine some of the dumb stuff I would have tweeted during my bling-bling gangster rapper phase in the early 2000's. :oops: Hope Chase can learn not to be bitter, he gave it a great try at UM and will be a very good player at the DIII level.

Naccarato was a good receiver for the Griz and had a pretty decent career at UM. He caught 41 passes this season, and was the 4th leading receiver, despite not playing much or at all later in the season. Henderson had much more playing time and caught only 8 more passes. Any receiver who catches 41 passes obviously gets open. He was tied for the 4th leading receiver in 2013. He battled back this season, from injuries the prior season. He was certainly a D-I receiver, as shown by the number of starts and receptions for the Griz.

I'm sorry to see him go, but I understand. He will tear it up at Whitworth.

I don't know why posters, especially losers like Cranium, feel the necessity to attack players like this. The lil guy in this one is Cranium, not Chase N. Chase N stands tall in my book. Good luck to you.

While I tend agree with DickBrain's assessment, it's a complete dick move and weak from a guy behind a computer screen. The guy played hard every snap and I hope he enjoys his time at Whitworth.

Do you know what the yardage totals were? Seemed like Chase caught a lot of passes, but not much yardage if my memory is right, could be wrong. I really thought he would thrive in this offense, seemed like a bunch of dropped passes also, could be wrong on that also. Best of luck to him at Whitworth. Seems like Stitt is looking for bigger bodies to help blocking also.

That's a good way to put just about anything in perspective really.

12 career starts for UM through his junior year season, including 8 in a year when UM had a very talented receiving crew, the all-time leading receiver, and several seniors who will have NFL opportunities; and he's not a D-I receiver? Jeez, some of you don't have a clue about the game of football.
