Guess it depends on the definition. Obviously the score was close. And they had far fewer penalties than we did which is good by them. And 11 more passing yards; they got us there. Nearly every other measurable stat the Cats had them beat. 487 yards to 338. 347 yards rushing to 187. Higher completion percentage, more yards per pass, obviously more yards per rush. Turnovers a wash. Dominated time of possession 38 minutes to 22.
Imagine these identical stats occur in the Brawl in your favor. I'm wondering if you wouldn't think that you essentially dominated the game.
I think we'll get another crack at Weber which I think both fanbases would love.
3d down conversion rates were 4-14 for Weber, and 3-13 for Cats. Slight advantage Weber.
Punt returns: Weber 3-91 and 1 TD. Cats 0 yards.
KO return average: Weber 46.7 and 1 TD. Cats 24.4.
FG's: Weber 1-1. Cats 0-1.
Weber had a 2-pt conversion.
Weber lost a number, and Cats had an interception.
And, again, the 4 bad punt snaps and safeties that Weber gave the Cats.
It makes me laugh when I see Cat posters saying that KO/punt returns were in the luck category for Weber.
