And anybody complaining about officiating and then dredging up the Cats\Weber game, please. That was a brutally one sided game in terms of the refs, Bobcats dominated that game. Was easy to see through rose colored glasses from the stands.

Guess it depends on the definition. Obviously the score was close. And they had far fewer penalties than we did which is good by them. And 11 more passing yards; they got us there. Nearly every other measurable stat the Cats had them beat. 487 yards to 338. 347 yards rushing to 187. Higher completion percentage, more yards per pass, obviously more yards per rush. Turnovers a wash. Dominated time of possession 38 minutes to 22.

Imagine these identical stats occur in the Brawl in your favor. I'm wondering if you wouldn't think that you essentially dominated the game.

I think we'll get another crack at Weber which I think both fanbases would love.

The thing that impressed me the most is when the long snapper snapped it out of the end zone four times. The Bobs were extremely well-prepared to receive those 8 points and the ball each of those four times to truly dominate the Weebs by 5 points in Bozeman. The dominating performance sent shockwaves around a nearly 2-mile radius. Multiple truckers have reported hearing ESGGCG chants when they passed through on the 90.

Regardless, I think the point you were making about dominating Weber is a tad bit overblown when you beat them by 5 and they spotted you 8 and 4 free possessions.

Maybe domination is the wrong word, but if you would have been there you would have understood what we're saying. It was such a strange game (Strangest football game I've ever seen, for sure in the first half anyway), but it never really felt like the Cats would actually lose. Remember when the griz used to feel that way in games? Also, offensive TDs scored on Weber this year:

I not one time said the Cats dominated. I was responding to your post that said they didn’t. And I said it depends on the definition. We had more rushing yards, total yards, more yards per run, more yards per pass, higher 3rd down conversion, higher 4th down conversion, time of possession by a mile, and most importantly, the final score.

Good news for me is it doesn’t matter what people call it. We beat a very good Weber team and are set up wonderfully for November 19th and beyond. What I think or any other fans think doesn’t matter. We’ll see how our squads perform going forward.

The Cats had good O, but Weber would likely have had a bunch more if they hadn't had the 2 returns for TD's. Obviously, they lost a possession after each of those returns. The Cats were down in the first half under 59 second to go. Then were up in the second half.
