I get a kick out of this DB, "Great Day to be an Eagle!"
He's from the culture capital of Washington and The Northwest, Spokane !!! Huh? Also known as Seattle's ugly little stepsister, There is a lot of culture and class in Washington, only its in Seattle, not the little, ugly stagnating toad on its Eastern border or the adjacent commuter college in Cheney with the God-awful red carpet and high-school football stadium. (Spokane has a lot of redeeming features and good people, but it was surpassed long ago by Seattle in terms of growth and importance in Washington and The NW, and other cities in the Northwest have already clearly supassed it in terms of growth and regional importance, Boise, and another soon will in terms of growth, Billings. We already have in terms of importance as the gateway to The Bakken, windfarms in Central Montana, the only platinmum and palladium mine in the Western Hemisphere at Stillwater Mine in Columbus and Big Timber, and a trade area far larger than Spokane's. Probably why The Weather Channel has Billings on its national weather map, not Spokane. As far as culture is concerned, I look out my office window in Downtown Billings, and right across the street is The Alberta Bair Center for The Performing Arts. Hey, we are not New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or the epicenter for culture for the NW, the United States, and the entire Western world, Spokane, Washington, but for some backward hicks, we ain't half bad !!!)
JJ is a class act, he led his high school to championships in Oregon, and he's a good student in the classroom.
While I was impressed with Adams play on the field two weeks ago and Eastern is a good team, we came one called-back TD on a questionable penalty from defeating them. As Sam Houston demonstrated earlier this year, the Eastern Screamin' Magpies are good: invincible, they ain't !!!
