I have sat right behind the visitors bench for years at WA Griz and this years EWU team was one of if not biggest group of classless shit talkers I've seen in a long long time, led by Vernon Adams. Every time he came to the sidelines he had something foul to say to our crowd, or would stare and scowl pacing up and down the sidelines. He even threw up Blood gang signs after a couple TD's. The guy is a punk, plain and simple but that doesn't mean he can't be a great leader for his team on the field and he is hands down the best QB in the Big Sky.
Not to mention he's throwin' up a Blood gang sign in his facebook profile pic. Class act

blood sign, lol. This isn't 1995 anymore dude.
Or is it sill '95 in Montana?
Bloods-gang.jpg

Or it's an A-OK sign. But I'm sure a gangsta like you would know. :?

Dude is a 20-year-old hipster who loves country music and instagramming pics of himself on his way to class.

I know it's hard for some of you hayseeds over in Montucky to understand this given you have next to zero cultural competency, but being black and having tattoos DOES NOT equal thug.

Dude tweeted one emoticon with a bear and a gun, which was a dumb thing to do. But come on, when I was 20 I liked Nickelback. So, there's that.

Also, as for nicknames, Vernon has one, it's Big Play VA > http://bigplayva.tumblr.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Two things: (1) He's a f***[*] idiot. (2) His nickname is Shoota, and it ALWAYS will be.
I thought that was Jimmy Wilson? :coffee:

Nope. There's only one Shoota, and he leads your group of non-qualifiers.

I'm sure Griz players are angels on visiting sidelines, aren't fired up or talking shit. I'm also sure that Griz fans would NEVER hurl vitriolic, shit talk to opposing players, or throw stuff at them in WA-Griz.

Not to mention that the number 3 is very prevalent in Blood gang culture. Interesting choice in jersey number for VA. But you are probably right, kids these days are always throwin' up the A-OK sign. A-OK signs are super hot right now with urban youth. Good point, looks like those kids covered in red are doing super duper A-OK! Good for them!

Except there's been only one shoota that killed someone with a gun to attend either EWU or UM, and that's Jimmy Wilson. He's a cannibal too, since he was trying to take a bite out of some girl's leg. What a sick ****. Not surprised that a guy like you would support that kind of atrocious behavior. :bad:

I think you're right about their behavior, but I would bet they are still fired up. They are just mature enough to know how to handle their emotions better. It's really no surprise if you think about it objectively.

They hurled Twinkies. Ask #38 who was injured. He kept one and ate it on the sideline after a fan tossed one to him. Polite kid, who said thank you.

I guess Russell Wilson is a blood too, huh? I mean, he wears #3, is black, and went to NC State whose colors are all red too. Coincidence? I think not!

OK. Wilson isn't nicknamed Shoota, and doesn't play for either team.
Like I said, there is only one Shoota, and he leads your group of misfits and second/third chancers.

You are really not fucking dumb enough to make this comparison, are you? Please point to a time when Russell Wilson threatened to shoot up a stadium. Or, just go away.

Jeez, why is it so hard for EWU fans to admit that their QB is a punk? It's not the end of the world, and has no impact on wins and losses. Why are they suddenly so concerned with their image when they've clearly never cared before?

My brother isn't in a gang. Has worn the #3 his entire life. Wore 16 while Greg Herd was playing and to remember his best friend who died from cancer. It's funny that you all cry about being personally attacked but fail to realize that this someone's son, brother etc. that you're wishing to have his legs broken, calling a thug and an onslaught of other BS. He talks crap like every other football player on the field but always praises his competitor.

Do Better.

He is hands down in my opinion the best offensive player in the Big Sky Conference, and hands down carries himself like the biggest punk in the Big Sky Conference. Outside of Eastern circles, "Punk" seems to be the consensus when describing VAs on the field demeanor and actions. He will either grow and mature or you will be spending 2 more years policing message boards for him.

Whatever you say, cannibalistic murdering thug supporter.

Speaking of second/third chancers, glad to see Trevor Poole got a second chance. I mean, he's probably a really bright kid, just had a lapse in judgment when he tried to score some molly or x or whatever you druggies over there call it, straight from a cop.

That was a really bad thing to do. I think he should have been suspended for a long time or dismissed altogether. I would think the exact same thing if JJ made a death threat to EWU fans. I am objective and consistent in my opinions regarding these things. You are not.

I get a kick out of this DB, "Great Day to be an Eagle!"

He's from the culture capital of Washington and The Northwest, Spokane !!! Huh? Also known as Seattle's ugly little stepsister, There is a lot of culture and class in Washington, only its in Seattle, not the little, ugly stagnating toad on its Eastern border or the adjacent commuter college in Cheney with the God-awful red carpet and high-school football stadium. (Spokane has a lot of redeeming features and good people, but it was surpassed long ago by Seattle in terms of growth and importance in Washington and The NW, and other cities in the Northwest have already clearly supassed it in terms of growth and regional importance, Boise, and another soon will in terms of growth, Billings. We already have in terms of importance as the gateway to The Bakken, windfarms in Central Montana, the only platinmum and palladium mine in the Western Hemisphere at Stillwater Mine in Columbus and Big Timber, and a trade area far larger than Spokane's. Probably why The Weather Channel has Billings on its national weather map, not Spokane. As far as culture is concerned, I look out my office window in Downtown Billings, and right across the street is The Alberta Bair Center for The Performing Arts. Hey, we are not New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or the epicenter for culture for the NW, the United States, and the entire Western world, Spokane, Washington, but for some backward hicks, we ain't half bad !!!)

JJ is a class act, he led his high school to championships in Oregon, and he's a good student in the classroom.

While I was impressed with Adams play on the field two weeks ago and Eastern is a good team, we came one called-back TD on a questionable penalty from defeating them. As Sam Houston demonstrated earlier this year, the Eastern Screamin' Magpies are good: invincible, they ain't !!!

Billings is an absolute shithole. And stating the Weather Channel as your proof that it's more important that Spokane is beyond laughable. nice try though. That was more of a stretch than the blood gang sign stretch.

Billings is cool. It has coal and oil mining (both of which are dying industries). Enjoy irrelevance

I love how this thread degenerated into two of the worst towns in the western US battling it out for who sucks less. This thread gets my totally non gang related A-OK stamp of approval!

Billings v. Spokane, Pinto v. Yugo, and Giant Douche v. Turd Sandwich. All very important matchups.

great thread. :thumb:

in my mind it's easy. all three of these guys lead their teams. all three make their teams better. fans of all three wouldn't trade "their" guy for the other two.

and if adams continues putting the numbers up he has this season...he'll be better than both McGhee and Johnson when all is said and done.

carry on...
