Dude is a 20-year-old hipster who loves country music and instagramming pics of himself on his way to class.

I know it's hard for some of you hayseeds over in Montucky to understand this given you have next to zero cultural competency, but being black and having tattoos DOES NOT equal thug.

Vernon is not a better QB, I have watched 3 games of his and he makes poor throws, aka across his body,across field, into double coverage. So far he has not been burned but a team like ndsu or many others aka Montana if we played again would have success. Look for msu to try and get some ints tomorrow. Their out there, you just gotta go get em and not let the WRs take them away from you

Correct, he is not a better QB. He has receivers that have a great coach that teach them to go get the ball and don't wait for it to come to them. There were a lot of throws against' us that should never have been caught by his receivers but at the least been knocked down by our DB's...

His receivers have a lot to do with that. One would think you'd want to heap some praise on them and not just VA, but then again, that might be too complex of a concept for a beagle fan to comprehend.

Numbers don't mean anything to Griz Nation unless it's the Griz player with the stats. Remember when JJ's passer rating was higher than VA's? That was big news, but NOW it's all about "It Factor" WR's making plays or what system the coaching staff runs. Ellis Henderson and Jamaal Jones have been making spectacular catches over defenders just like EWU receivers do for VA. Part of being a great QB is knowing who and when to throw it up to and let your athletes make plays. JJ and VA are both very talented QBs, but VA is a much more gifted athlete and player. It is not a knock on Jordan Johnson, it's just that Vernon Adams is that good. With Adams, Safron, McGhee, Johnson the Big Sky is loaded with QB talent, so having a guy on our side (Griz) in the conversation of the best of the best is a luxury that many teams in the FCS would love to have.

Hell yeah EWU has great receivers as well, which you'll also see in that graphic as a Freshman is damn near up top the leader board for receiving yards for the season.
That point is not lost on me, or anyone else in Eagle nation.

When it is all said and done Vernon Adams is going to own a ton Big Sky conference records. Baldwin coaches with a very aggressive mentality and their offense as a whole has been very explosive under his guidance.

Adams is probably the biggest playmaker of the bunch. He has shown some great touch on the deep pass plays...helps that he is throwing to probably the deepest set of talented WR in the Big Sky. The upside for the kid is unlimited but I don't know if he will ever mature enough to realize it.

On the other end of the spectrum is McGhee. There isn't another Qb in the nation that I would rather have leading our team. He has literally picked MSU up by the throat and really raised the program, school, town etc to a whole different level. You got to remember that he has operated under a different OC every single year he has been there. He went from spread offense under Coach Ash, to heavily run offense under Wright, to pass heavy offense under McGivens, to Oregon Ducks offense under Ramsey...and did what was asked of him each time. Not a lot of QB's could do that and be effective each year. I can't even begin to tell you how impactful he was when it came to recruiting... He is not fancy but simply knows how to will a team to a win..

Johnson - I think he is stuck somewhere in between McGhee and Adams in terms of performance, leadership etc. If there are any issues with Johnson, it has to do a lot with scheme and design of the offense.

Why do you say that?

Baldwin is always mentioning in interviews how Adams has matured in the last year; grown into the role of a leader of an organization, a professional at the QB position, and what a great kid he is. You might jump to the conclusion, "well, of course Baldwin is going to say that about his QB," but he said the same things about McGhee, unprompted.

Adams is already putting up incredible numbers, and will continue to get better. Still two years and change left for him to play, and he's already broken several EWU records, and is over the halfway mark on a good handful of BSC records.

I have sat right behind the visitors bench for years at WA Griz and this years EWU team was one of if not biggest group of classless shit talkers I've seen in a long long time, led by Vernon Adams. Every time he came to the sidelines he had something foul to say to our crowd, or would stare and scowl pacing up and down the sidelines. He even threw up Blood gang signs after a couple TD's. The guy is a punk, plain and simple but that doesn't mean he can't be a great leader for his team on the field and he is hands down the best QB in the Big Sky.
Not to mention he's throwin' up a Blood gang sign in his facebook profile pic. Class act :roll:
