As far as McClafferty, should be safe to assume his recruitment will push on into January for the second signing period. But after recruits sign during this early period, priorities and recruiting boards change. The Cats and Griz both signed a number of offensive lineman. However, I'm high on Konor and think he should get a partial from one of the two FCS schools in-state.

Probably a pipe dream, but I'd love to get Earl, Fitz-Henley, and Steward. That'd be wishful thinking though.

Pretty good class so far. Love the additions to the lines and the secondary. Still need some immediate help at DT IMO but I’ve been hoping for a Tonga takai type talent for a couple years now and it hasn’t materialized so perhaps that’s a once a generation type talent at that position for the Griz

Here is the link to the presser. You can still watch it. He did say he couldn’t comment on a couple as they were wrapping up paperwork and he did say that they shut down their offers about three weeks ago just to see where they would finally land with all of these folks they’ve been recruiting and would finish up in January when the dead period is over. He mentioned that they are pretty much now done got everyone they wanted to sign with the exception of a transfer corner which I am assuming might be Earl. It could be interpreted two ways that Earl is coming and just finishing up some paperwork or they are still in need of a transfer corner since Earl didn’t work out

We are going to need more than 1 transfer CB in my opinion that position is in dire need.

Agree 100%. This is definitely still linebacker U. For one reason or another UM has great success recruiting and developing elite linebackers. Fontes is a very pleasant surprise. He should redshirt too with all the talent in front of him at receiver giving him a full 5 years at UM, that is unless they play him on defense. I’m also pleasantly surprised that Casey stuck with his commitment over an offer from Oregon state. Thought for sure we were losing that one. Future is bright with these incoming players.
