But he is a NC coach!

What I've read is that Ash gave the offensive coordinator full control of the offense last year. This year he brought in a new defensive coordinator. I hear he spends the majority of his time in his office sipping chardonnay and looking at potential retirement properties in Costa Rica.

He may be into the Ripple before the end of the season.

I really didn't think the Wombats would collapse like that. Prukop did show in the first half that he is an extraordinary athlete. An amazing performance. No matter what happens, that kid is special. But two key injuries may have sealed the deal on that game. That's not Ash's fault.

But, Portlandia State? Wow.

Did you see that team when they were told that Coach Barnum had gotten the 5-year contract? That was the happiest bunch of kids I think I have ever seen. Those guys love that coach, for whatever reasons. They will walk through fire for him. He's really brought something to PSU that I don't think anyone ever thought could be there: a football team with the desire to win for their coach.

Small correction: Ron says chard it too buttery. He's a pinot grigio kind of guy. He often pairs it with a plain caesar, or the house salad. On Fridays, he might even add some salmon. Nothing too heavy.

Holy Shit! With your help, I believe I have had an epiphany. Ron Ash is the poor man's Rick Neuheisel. Sure Ron has not had the successes on and off the field, the fame or the intuitive self-identification as a winner. Unlike Rick, Ron is not innovative, intelligent or even interesting to talk to. But both share an appreciation for the finer things in life, have throngs of women who are helplessly attracted to them (e.g. Waded), imperial sensibilities and Country Club Style. In addition, both were blessed with piercing baby-blue eyes, possess those heavenly golden locks and both look great in Lands' End sweaters.

This is one hell of a realization, and one that is 100% correct. Slick Rick came to SoCal claiming that the football monopoly was over. That didn't work out. Samsies with Ron. Feathered and moist locks on both. I think Rick rips the Land's End sweaters for sure, but Ron is a Coldwater Creek man.

Yes!!! They both share the same rogue qualities and a grifter mentality.

Kitty nation is about to implode. Fans calling out players, players parents calling out fans. Let the trail of tears begin!

PSU has athletes! Not looking good for the Griz trip out there

Not to mention they are playing inspired football.....they love they're coach and believe in him.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and make a bold statement:

PSU will NOT score TD's on each of it's first 7 drives against the Griz.

It was 8 but who's counting...

I am. There was no reason for the Cat defense to be on the field for the first EIGHT PSU possessions. The good news is that the Cat faithful seem to finally be calling for a replacement at the top. It's fun when lil'bro looks like a joke, but we need them to be decent.

My guess is PSU loses to poly, um, and ewu still...

Possible, but I don't think that will be the case...

Agreed...

Nope, nor should they. You have some defense in Missoula...your offense sucks but not your defense which will keep you more games than a stellar offense.
